After reading the article Here it sounds like Rudy is trying to bulk up to 230 pounds to prepare for the NBA. I\'m really curious to see if his draft stock rises once the workouts begin.

I\'m telling you we are going to draft Rudy Gay he is the most NBA player in this years draft along with Aldridge and Roy.

If we drafted him, how would he fit in the lineup?
Wallace at the 2 and Rudy at 3
or Rudy at 2 and Wallace at 3?

I think Gay could play the two but I\'m not sure.

Gay hasn\'t got the handles to play the 2.

If we draft Gay then we might as well start to look at the potential of trading Wallace.

BB said last year he doubted there was room on the roster for two like styled players in Wallace and Robinson.

How is there going to be room for 3?

If drafting Rudy Gay means that Gerald Wallace gets traded, then I want absolutely no part of drafting Rudy.

Think waaayy back
Does the hype surrounding Rudy Gay remind you of the hype Billy Owens had when he came out of Syracuse. Supposedly Billy had all the skills. He had size at 6\'9\", he could score, rebound, pass. He was supposed to be the next Magic. But unfortunately he was too soft ( like Rudy ) to ever amount to anything more than an average player once he got to the NBA. If you remeber Owens, then you\'ll see that Rudy is like him reincarnated.

Now I hadn\'t thought about that comparison. I would say that Rudy Gay is a better athlete than Owens was, but as far as the overall skillset and the \"softness factor\" that its a damned close comparison.
Billy Owens had the skills to be a 10 time all-star, but if I remember correctly, he never made the all-star game once.
Attitude and competitive spirit count for a lot in the NBA, If you put Adam Morrison\'s competitiveness in Rudy Gay\'s body, then you\'d have the uncontested number 1 pick in this year\'s draft.

So who do we take? do we draft Gay on pontential, Morrison because of his attitude and will to win, or Roy to fill that SG need?

If we draft 1-2 and keep the pick then Lamarcus Aldridge if hes solid in his workouts and can play center,
If we get 1-2 and trade the pick then we try to do my dream scenario.
If we draft 3, then Adam Morrison.. although the fact that he and Crash play the same position troubles me quite a bit.
If we draft 4-6, then its Brandon Roy.

As you can see, I\'m still confused as hell about what we should do for this year\'s draft.:P
