Sportsbook Odds on the 2006 lottery

Here is a link to sportsbook.com odds on the results of the 2006 draft lottery. Its based a lot on the history of the lottery and the fact that most of the time, the team with the worst record DOES NOT get the best pick.

I actually really hope that we fall to the worst possible position (#6), forcing us to draft Carney or Roy rather than wasting a top 3 pick on someone like Morrison, Gay or even worse, Thomas.

That is unless of course we can land and trade a top 3 pick down, still pick up Carney or Roy and get something else as well - but I think that would be highly doubtful

I still want that number one pick, If we get it, somebody is going to fall in love with Tyrus Thomas enough to give us a pick in the 5 or 6 range along with a mid round pick or another player in a trade.
