Tyrus Thomas article

I can\'t believe that people are considering taking this 6\'9\" 217 pound kid that will get pounded trying to play power forward, and doesn\'t have the handle to play small forward as the overall top pick of the NBA draft.

IMO drafting Tyrus Thomas would be a wasted draft pick. There are guys like this in every draft that are off the scale athletically that just never develop real basketball skills.
Everybody remembers Stromile Swift, I\'m sure.

This year hes the ultimate risk/reward pick.
Up to this point the Bobcats have gone for safe draft picks over risky ones, so if they hold true to form then theres little chance that he\'ll wind up on a Bobcats roster. In my opinion thats a good thing.

With May and Okafor, Thomas would be a wasted pick. The Bobcats need a shooting guard.

Get rid of that draft pick and get Gerald Green from Boston.

Tray, I feel ya on Gerald Green, but we blew our shot at him on draft night 2005. Boston would never be crazy enough to give him up, not even for our first round draft pick. Hes going to be a star.

I think they would, and I agree. May instead of Gerald Green was boneheaded.
