Man I hope not, hes become way to weird in the past year. BUT it looks like Larry Brown\'s people HAVE inquired about the Bobcats coaching position.

I brought up Larry Brown a month or so back before these rumors started. A lot of people don\'t like him, but we could do a whole lot worse than a coach who is holding an NBA ring and a National championship. Hes defensive minded, which suits this team perfectly, and he wouldn\'t have to deal with a roster full of overpaid uncoachable divas.

Dude... Larry Brown alienated everybody on the Knicks roster and front office. He called out half of his players in the media, and he took a roster that most people thought was playoff worthy and took them to the worst record in the league, and to top it all off, he never EVER finishes out a contract, he always bails on his team. That is NOT the type of coach that we need on a growing franchise. Somebody like Brown could set this franchise all the back to square one.

What did I tell you, lol? I mentioned Brown to the Bobcats as a possibility this morning as soon as I heard that he might be bought out.
What else did I say? Oh, that\'s right. Trading the Draft pick for Gerald Green out of Boston.
Watch. It\'s coming.

Larry Brown would be the perfect fit for Charlotte.
Last time I checked, New York is not Charlotte, and the mentality that \"Starbury\" and Steve \"Fancy\" had is not a problem with the Bobcats.
Those guys were not teachable. Felton, May, Wallace, Okafor would thrive under Larry Brown.

The biggest problem with Larry Brown is that he hates rookies and young players and makes their lives miserable. Thats 75% of the Bobcats\' roster, they never will be able to develop with a coach like that.

Starbury isn\'t a rookie.
Steve Fancy isn\'t a rookie.
I think Larry Brown is a teacher and he hates being around players who don\'t want to learn and aren\'t willing to listen.
Larry Brown is a UNC guy.
Larry Brown loves Raymond Felton.
Larry Brown loves Sean May.
I\'m sure that Emeka Okafor and Alan Anderson are his types of guy.
These are guys who listen and Larry Brown loves \"coaching.\" He doesn\'t like managing. Phil Jackson is a manager. He manages star personalities. Larry Brown doesn\'t want to deal with that. He won\'t have to \"manage\" Okafor, May, Felton, or Anderson.
The rest of the guys can be traded as needed as far as I care.

I agree that Marbury and Francis are not Larry Brown type players, but even with the Felton/May Tarheel connections to go along with Okafor and Wallace who are probably LB-type guys, what makes you think that Brown would stick around more than one season or two at the most? This is a guy who walked away from a world championship caliber roster with the Pistons, which for the most part were all LB-type players.

Larry Brown would be the worst choice coach for us I rather stick with Bernie I never heard Bernie say he couldnt win with the team we had for the last 2 years never. HeelFan said it the best.

I think being close to UNC Chapel-Hill and Dean and Roy would be enough to keep Larry Brown here for a good while.

Wrong as usual.
No, you are wrong Tray.
Brown would be horrible here. Okafor has already had his problems with Brown - remember the Olympics? Okafor said Brown made that a very difficult experience for him as Brown didn\'t give Okafor the time of day.........because he was a Rook.
Oh ya, and you say that Brown is a Felton fan? Maybe, but all Brown did was to try and take a shot at Marbury through the press by saying that Felton played the way a PG should play. He said that once.
What he has said time and time and time again this year is how much of a fan he is of Knight. So lets say Brown comes here, and we all know how much of a fan of vet\'s Brown is, lets say he comes here, I hope you would like to see Felton coming off the bench.....still and even worse playing Felton and Knight in the back court together for long periods of time.
Face it, everyone else is right, you are in fact wrong if you think that Brown is the man for the \'Cats.
He would have as much chance of making the Bobcats better as you do of Green being traded here for our 1st round pick

There are a couple of psitives that LB could bring to the Bobcats if he were the coach. The most significant would be that we would gain more media attention and you could be sure that we would be on national TV more than ZERO times next season.
But unfortunately his negatives far outweigh those small benefits.
The biggest negative is that theres no way he would stay as coach for more than two seasons, it just ain\'t in him.

If Brown comes here, I\'d be proven right.
As for the Bobcats trading for Green. They need to attempt it. This draft sucks.

OK, What if the Bobcats really did make a legit run at picking up Gerald Green, but the Celtics wouldn\'t give him up. If that were to happen and the Bobcats were sitting there with the #1 pick there has to be somebody out there that you think could help the team. In that scenario who would it be? Morrison, Gay, Roy, Aldridge, Bargnani? Who?

The Bobcats are never, ever, EVER going to make a play for Green. Not for the next 4 years.
If we did make a play for Green, it would be like BB and the organization addmitting that we made a mistake by not taking him at #13.
Like me dunking from the foul line - it aint gonna happen
