Last season the Miami Heat lost to the Detroit Pistons in a hard fought 7 games despite a one legged Shaq and a Dwyane Wade with a jacked up ribcage. Despite all of this they were still about 3 minutes from eliminating the Pistons and going to the NBA finals. For the Heat, they KNOW that theres no tomorrow, Shaq is still dominant, but not all of the time and not to the same level that he was in the past, and hes getting older by the second, who knows what kind of Shaq hes going to be next season. Pat Riley also has to know that this is his last opportunity, he knows that winning the NBA championship will cement his legacy.
The Pistons on the other hand showed in the Cavs series that they really aren\'t the Big Bad Wolf that Lebron spoke of, There defense isn\'t up to the level that it was for the past few year, its deteriorated to the point that In game 6, they were one tip in away from being sent home. This is the year that Shaq takes them out.
My prediction: Miami Heat in 6.
