Read it here
Sure it was a hard foul, but back 10 years ago during the peak of thugball, you saw about 5 hard fouls like this each and every playoff game. Theres no way that he deserves to be suspended.

I think its good he got suspended. He fouled Shaq out of angry because the refs didnt call a foul and the play before when he went to the basket. He\'s lucky Shaq didnt tear him up like crazy.

Rather than suspending him, they should have put Stack in a locked cage with Shaq and thrown away the key.
I agree djack, if Flash hadn\'t come straight in, Shaq may have put Stack 10 rows back...........from one end of the court to the other.

We can discuss whether the suspension of Stackhouse is unfair, but this suspension was crucial for Mavs. They lost last night and Miami bench outscored Dallas bench 23-12 (Stack averages 13 ppg)

Probably worse than James Posey\'s hard foul in round 1, but not nearly as bad as Raja Bell\'s takedown against the Lakers.
You\'re right that it was absolutely critical for the Mavs, at a time when they were having trouble knocking down shots or getting to the free throw line, they absolutely need a guy like Stackhouse with his offensive skills on the court.
Now we just need to see if those 3 games in Miami broke the Mavs mentally.

From all of the whining and complaining that the Mavericks have been doing following that game 5 loss, I\'d say that their spirit has been broken. If the Heat can come out in game 6 and jump out to an early lead and keep the crowd quiet then it\'ll be over in 6... However if it goes 7 then the Heat is in trouble.

It was a legitimate foul at the end of game 5, see for yourself.

That was a ticky-tack foul at best.

You grab someone like that on the arm at there is nothing ticky-tacky about it!!
Flash should have been called for an offensive in regulation though when he pushed off Griffin to make some move with his drive to bank it off the glass and send it to OT.

Devin Harris\' hand brushed his wrist, but I wouldn\'t say that he grabbed his arm. That kind of incidental contact happens on every play. Its a shame to end the game at the free throw line because of call like that.

Dude\'s a multi billionare.
$250,000 clams is nothing to him.
What they should have done was ban him from attending games 6 and 7 (if needed) of the finals series.
That would have forced him to have a kitten!!

That would have forced him to have a kitten!! It must be nice to have that kind of money, He probably drops 250K atthe Gentlemen\'s club after each home game.;)
He deserved every cent of the fine because he acted like a complete ass following game 5, Dan LeBatard of the Miami Herald even said that he yelled at David Stern that his refs rigged the game.
