Bernie said yesterday to the press we might see a sign and trade. The most likely to be in a sign and trade is the ristricted Free agents. Thats Ely and
B rob. To me it looks like a package thing of .
B.K. Plus ELY and or B Rob. Thinking of trade value
who do you think it might be.

I think that in order of most to least likely, I\'d say its.
1- Brevin Knight
Hes not going to be happy playing backup minutes behind Ray-Ray
2- Melvin Ely
Witth everybody healthy, he isn\'t going to get minutes behind Emeka and Rerun
3- Bernard Robinson
There aren\'t won\'t be any minutes left at the SG/SF behind Ammo, Crash, Jumaine Jones, Alan Anderson & Matt Carroll.
I\'d be surprised if something didn\'t happen.

I dont have a clue.
As far as I know, Jones hasn\'t been offered a qualifying offer as yet.
He might not be here next season.

I think you right about Jones , ive not seen a thing about him.
I think the plan is to packege B.K and Ely,
But who or what do you think we can get 4 them.
Or do they have any trade value at all.

^^^^^^
I know they do, we could get something good for BK and Ely throw in B-Rob or Jones and we could pick up a nice player but just who???

Dorell Wright or Marquis Daniels would be nice. There are some quality players on championship caliber rosters that don\'t get a lot of minutes because their roster is so deep, If they came here, they could actually get some minutes.
Dorell Wright would be a good move. Not for both Ely AND Bk though. BK for Wright and a 2nd works for me.
I don\'t think that Daniels would be a good pick up at all though.
He is very, VERY limited offensively, plays out of control more often than not, has shown very little improvement during his 3 years in the league (he came in undrafted BTW) and replicates what we already have in Crash and BRJ.
He is also under contract for the next 4 seasons averaging $6.25 million a year.
Pass.
I\'d still LOVE to do a
Ely (S&T)
for
Salmons (S&T) and Hunter from Philly.
Ely would replace Webber as a post scorer down the road.
Salmons would give us a poor man\'s Roy and Hunter a defensive 7 footer in the 2nd unit.
Both Salmons and Hunter would give us instant depth and could come in an play from day #1.

Guard Brett Blizzard was just picked up by Charlotte, does he have a chance to make the team?

Blizzard is a 6\'4\" guard that put up good numbers at UNCW
AVG REB: 4.27, AVG AST: 3.63, AVG PTS: 21.33
but the level of his competition was suspect at best.
Bobcats still need a capable 2-guard...
