JB Bickerstaff talks with nba.com here (http://www.nba.com/bobcats/backstage_bickerstaff_060703.html) about the Bobcats summer league.
One of the things that caught my eye is where he says that Adam is more than just a scorer and is already making his teamates better.
So TAKE THAT all of you Morrison bashers!!!

And you would expect for JBB to come out and say \"ya, well, Morrison is pretty much just a shooter. That\'s all he does, all he\'s good for and if he\'s not dropping his J, he\'s pretty much useless. I wish Dad and MJ drafted someone else\".

?

?Nooo, I woudn\'t expect anybody on the Bobcats staff to say anything like that, BUT if they saw Ammo seriously struggling or if they saw somw things that gave them doubts about drafting him, then you better believe that they\'d be doing there best to lower expectations. You\'d be hearing the whole \"bringing him along slowly\" routine that they gave us last year with Felton.

I agree with phycho, This guy is the real deal . Rookie of the year. If he wasent the cats would be saying lets bring him along slow. Im a die hard FELTON fan, but this guy might have been a better pick than Felton. WoW thats hard to say when i think Feltons going to be a all star.

Heres the latest on how day 2 of the workouts went from noticias.info

(On Adam Morrison and Ryan Hollins)
Adam is a scoring threat as soon as he steps on the floor based on reputation alone, so that spaces your defense and makes your offense more fluid because you have more room to move. But hes also very good at finding the open guy. Hes not going to force shots -- hes looking to get his teammates involved. Ryan is just a live body. Hes seven feet tall, hes athletic, he blocks shots, he runs the floor and he has a presence in the paint. I think at that size thats what you have to do. You have to be a presence so that when offensive players come in there as soon as they see you coming, they have to start making decisions and just not get easy baskets. When they have to make decisions, you can force more turnovers and get easy buckets going the other way.

Day 2 seems to be all about MORRISON getting endorsements from , OK5O and May THIS time. The only thing im worried about is OK50, Biggerstaff said hes was going to limit play in the work outs. I just get the feeling that ankle may never be right again.

I\'m a newbie to the board, but let\'s not discount Ryan Hollins here, they were real glad he was still on the board at 50, and I think in time this guy can be a Marcus Camby clone, tall, athletic, limited offensive game but gives you all he\'s got. I\'d rather have Primoz come off the bench due to his lack of rebounding and defense, so this guy could be a steal down the road.

I heard this guy Hollins is soft on the court, but we need to sign this kid Curtis Withers to take Jones spot at SF/PF.

Heres the latest from day 4 of The Bobcats practices

snippet from nba.com/bobcats

Adam put on a pretty impressive show. There was a stretch last night where he may have scored 13 or 14 points in a row and there wasnt really anything anyone could do about it. The best part about that is that his teammates recognize that and continue to give him the ball. They start to run plays for him and getting him the ball -- he was scoring all over, not only on the block, but he was shooting threes and putting it on the floor.

More info from that last scrimmage. Adam Morrison scored 20 of his 28 in the second half :)

Naaaaaaa Zig, not a ball hog. Just a guy who scored playing against our 2nd rate scrubs.

If he couldn\'t score against guy\'s who might not even make it in the D league, I\'d be serously worried.

Once he lights up people next week, We\'ll get the \"Oh its just summer league, he was supposed to drop 30 points and shoot 50% on those bums\" excuse, Right? :)

Correct.

He\'ll be playing SL against pretty much all the guy\'s he played against in college (apart for some 2nd year NBA sophmores).

He scored against them at school, he should be able to score against them in SL.

Let\'s see what he is doing by Jan 1st, 2008 after playing 2 months against the big boys of the NBA.
