WITH all the cap space the cats have . I have been looking all over just to find a sign and trade or a free agent pick up. In all the free agents left. ELY looks to be at the top of the list. Not one romor nothing. Ive not even seen a offer to ELY,or JAKE ,
It looks like we are just sitting back doing nothing. I thought we had to spend at least 16 mil this year to get the NBA min, Can some one tell me what we doing............

From insidehoops.com
\"It\'s certainly a possibility that restricted free agent Melvin Ely will remain with the Charlotte Bobcats. Ely\'s agent Dan Fegan told InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner that he plans to talk with Bobcats general manager/coach Bernie Bickerstaff probably Thursday or Friday at the Las Vegas summer league. They\'d like to give the Bobcats a chance to keep Ely before starting to really talk with other teams.\" InsideHoops.com
Outside of that tidbit, and the fact that Ammo signed today its been \"radio silence\" out of the Bobcats camp... I hope something is going on in the free agent market however

Its not much left in the free agent market.
About all the good players are gone. And we need to spend 16mil . No bodys left thats worth even close to that. The only way to spend money like that is a sign and trade. And that leads me to think James, or Garnett. I cant think of no body else.

Theres no way that a deal happens for a player like that to be added to the Bobcats roster. They may be waiting a few weeks after the initial signings to do some bargain shopping for free agents.
