Dead_Real
07-10-2006, 09:20 PM
Nobody has really did anything besides Morrison and Felton, Felton has been getting to the line often. And yes I saw that block from Morrison. Sean May looks fit but the cam is not close up so I cant really tell. My stream fucked up before half has Walter done anything?

12Pts, 5 Rebs, 4 Ast, 1 blk, 1 stl, 2 TO\'s

It\'s all good though because his shot will get better the more games he plays in the summer league. I predict that he\'ll shoot atleast 50% from the floor tomorrow against the Bulls, and if I\'m wrong well then damn.

As much as I enjoy bashing Sean May, It sounds like he did his thing in tonights game.
From the Magic website
The Miami Heat scored the games first points, but it was all Charlotte from that point forward as the Bobcats cruised to an easy 83-65 victory in the second game of the 2006 Pepsi Pro Summer League. Sean May led all scorers in the game with 22 points, followed by Adam Morrisons 12 and Alan Andersons 11.

I\'m telling you May was beasting tonight put backs, and that reverse lay up was nice.
Just to let you know here is the Bobcats times for the rest of the week.
Tues. vs Bulls around 7-7:30 PM
Wen. vs Orlando around 2:30-3:00 pm
Thurs vs New Jersey Around 2:30-3:00 pm
Fri. vs Pacers around 7-7:30 pm
Wallace15
07-10-2006, 11:24 PM
Yeah, Sean May really did play well tonight. He was beasting people, and I think he hit one or two 3\'s.
Adam Morrison did good but I was expecting a little bit more scoring from him though.

I think Morrison will score better tommorow he started chucking in the 3rd quarter and his shots were not falling.
Wallace15

True, there were a couple of times when he drove inside and just put a shot up when he could easily passed it back outside

In my official-unofficial tally of Adam\'s stats I counted 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 blocked shot and 1 steal.
Even though his shot wasn\'t falling, he was able to contribute in other areas of the game.

I\'m with you brother!! I love to bash the fat man.
But why do I have a sneaking suspicion that McMay is going to make some of us look silly this year when he earns his PT and starts at the 4, EO50 moves to the 5 and along with Crash at the 3 make a seriously good front court?
At least we wont be the only two silly - a lot of people have questioned the McMay pick.
What are you guys talking about?
Sean May dominated the summer league last year. Sean May dominated in college. Sean May dominated in High School.
Sean May\'s problem is staying healthy.
If he\'s healthy, he\'ll be a force in the NBA as well, because he is very skilled, ala Elton Brand.
You all talk about May like he\'s some slouch or something. Every time they step on the court in the summer league, he will be the best big man on the court.
ziggy

I hope that Rerun does prove us wrong, If he can ever get to the point where he could contribute at the pro level to the same degree that he did with the Tarheels, then he would be a great asset indeed for the Bobcats.
If that happens then there will be a lot of us who will have to admit that advocate4seanmay was right all along.
until that happens, I\'m still going to continue giving Sean May a hard time. :P

In his rookie debut, Morrison finished with 12 points, four rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes. Alan Anderson tallied 11 points, Felton recorded nine points and four assists and Burleson scored nine points.
I had a little bit of jitters -- it was my first NBA-type game, Morrison said. I rushed my shot a little bit at first, but I thought the rest of my game was good the way I ran the floor and made some good passes. It was good to help the team get a win, and thats my ultimate goal. __________________________________________________ ___
I had a feeling Ammo was going to be a little to hyped about his first taste of NBA action. I know Morrison will put up more consistant shots tommorow, thats the official stat line for the people that are interested Bobcats go undefeated in summer league play is my predictions.

McMay was shot happy last season. Any time he touched the ball on offense, he shot it, no matter the distance.
He also got SMOKED many times on D. Playing PF means that he is going to come up against guy\'s like Brand, Howard, Jermaine, Bosh, Matrix, Dirk, KG, K-Mart, Sheed, Boozer etc who are all quicker and more agile than him.
I can\'t get the picture of Bosh taking him baseline at our home game last season time and time again, posting him up, spinning around him and dunking again and again and again (P.S. Bosh had 30pts, 11 boards, 5 assists and 4 blocks that night) and all McMay could do was stand there and watch. The day of the domintate centre has come and gone. The age of the dominate \"new age\" PF has just arrived though and McMay is an old school body type.
Besides Tray, McMay was selected at #13 of the \'05 draft.................the position your boy Green should have been taken!! There\'s enough reason to ride him right there!!

My boy Curtis Withers with 13 points today I think he plays hard but he might not make the roster.
I think we will sign Brett Blizzard the boy can ball, I would also take a hard look at D\'or Fisher he is 6\'11 and he plays hard on defense and puts up shots in the paint. I think those are the two main guys the Bobcats will target.

i didnt mean drop anderson and keep burleson... drop em both pick up blizzard and try someone else... no reason to get attached to a freakin 5.8 points a game player for god sakes.
burleson is gone ... im not worried about that, and i think anderson will make the team and i have no problem with that. but im not about to pass up on someone who would be more beneficial(someone who gives a solid preseason showing), just because the guy dropped an outrageous 5.freakin8 points a game(esp. since he was forced into more playing time due to injuries.)

Part of the problem with Anderson\'s numbers not being so good last season was that we had a coach with a man-crush on Brevin Knight ( I won\'t even begin to talk about the man-love that he had on Kareem Rush ). So he force fed BK minutes when he should have just let Felton have his 35 minutes at the point and let Anderson/Carroll fight over the minutes at SG.

Dead_Real
07-13-2006, 08:17 PM
May had another great game he scored around 30-32 points today, Morrison had 20 if I\'m not mistaken he was productive. I would go out on the limb and say we lost the game today because of Kevin Berleson he put up like 4 three pointers and known of them went in. At the last minute Morrison tried to keep us in the game after going to the foul line but Morrison shot a bad 28 foot jump shot that had Sean May pissed off lol. With like 44 seconds left in the game guess who goes for a wide open 3, Kevin Burleson this guy sucks ass let me tell you. The only bad thing about the game was that it was reported that Sean May had soreness in his knee again and JB kept him on the floor late after a 30 point performance.

I was pissed that JB didnt put Blizzard in the game until 44 seconds left but he had Kevin in there I don\'t get it. I think our two bigs will be back tommorow with Hollins and Fischer returning to action. Ammo loves the contact I might add, he went to the line like 10 times he just stopped shooting and drived to the hoop strong I love this guy. Todays high scorers May nad Morrison
May - 32 points on 11-18 from the field and 8-10 FTs
Morrison - 31 points on 10-21 FGs and 10-10 FTs.
Bobcats lose 94-87 after big games from Antoine Wright and Eric Williams.
Morrison and May combine for 21-39 shooting, while the rest of the team goes 9-37 from the field.
On Sean Mays Knee
Charlotte power forward Sean May, who missed most of his rookie season because of a knee injury, said he has no plans of leaving the summer league despite experiencing some swelling and soreness in his surgically repaired knee.
For May, who is averaging 17.7 points on 47.4 percent shooting through three games, playing in the summer league has actually been good therapy for his head as well as his knee.
\"I knew I could come back and I\'d be fine, but being out here playing against different people and in different situations, there\'s just no way to simulate live basketball games,\'\' said May, who had 16 points and five rebounds Wednesday in Charlotte\'s 103-87 defeat of the Orlando Magic.
May has looked thin and agile, but more impressively, he\'s obviously added some range to his shooting touch. He\'s stepped away from the low block several times for mid-range shots, and he\'s even made two 3-pointers in Charlotte\'s first three games.
\"I\'ve always been able to shoot and find different ways to be effective,\'\' said May, the Most Outstanding Player of the 2005 NCAA Final Four for the University of North Carolina. \"In college, I was just more effective down on the block so I didn\'t shoot that much. But [the outside shot] is something I\'m trying to add to my game again.\'\'

Him and James White were going at it the entire game, Ammo missed a shot in the second half and White said something to Ammo and after that Ammo went off and scored 27 tonight he went at there defense tonight and drawed the foul but we lost:( Pacers fans think that White got into Ammo\'s head but it just motivated Morrison to take it to him until the coach took White off of Ammo and back on Kevin Burleson lol the play by play people had me rolling they killed James White.

I like to see a player who responds when people trash talk to him. I have a feeling that theres going to be a lot of people who get the James White treatmenr this year.
Kevin Burleson continued to be hot garbage. 1-6 from the field.
