from starnewsonline.com
The team will train July 19-25 in Las Vegas, and after a five-day break, the finalists will reconvene in Vegas on July 31 for the start of the second phase that will eventually take them to China to compete in the world championships.
There are no tryouts, thus there are no cuts. A finalist for the trip to China has no bearing on who will eventually participate in the Olympics.
How do you think Ammo will do training with the Elite of the NBA?
Will he:
A ) Dominate
B ) Be surprisingly competitve
C ) Hold his own
D ) Struggle
E ) Get completely exposed
For me I vote B

im hoping and praying B but im thinking its more like C with a sprinkling of B on top
he averaged 24 points a game and made the all tournament team in the summer league.
so you gotta think that if hes gonna be playing against MUCH stronger talent, and with stronger talent, hes numbers will be way down. so he will hold his own and wont suck... but i dont think hes gonna blow up and dominate .....but man wouldnt it be nice

Honestly for me, \"A\" is wishful thinking. I would be more than thrilled with \"B\". But it would be incredibly cool If he went there and just wrecked the other playersB)

Theres a lot of A\'s and B\'s on the list so far. I\'m a Morrison fan, but come on now lets get serious... If Ammo can \"C\" Hold his own against the very best that the NBA has to offer without ever having set foot on an NBA court ( summer league DOES NOT COUNT) then we should be thrilled and throw a party.
But my expectation is D struggles, and theres nothing wrong with that. If he kicked ass in this environment, then we have an extraordinary player on our hands.
D.
Not because he can\'t play the game, but if you guy\'s think Ammo is going to get any burn at all on a squad with THAT much talent you are out of your minds!

C - I think Morrison is going to surprise some people and hold his own, especially on the offensive end of the court.

I think d but i hope for a ,c.Hes a rookie playing with all stars. If he gets a c then hes done a great job. Even if its d . This guy can still play .Hes still just a rookie........

I\'m hoping for B, he will be more dominant with years in the league.

I found this on nba.com
Its one reporter\'s take on Morrison after seeing him workout at the world tryouts.
It was my first time seeing Adam Morrison play in person and I liked what I saw. He\'s bigger than I thought he would be and I can see him, along with his ability to work on the perimeter, posting up smaller threes in the Worlds and in the league.
