With Othella Harrington on our team we\'re guaranteed to make a deep playoff run now. ( Incredibly heavy sarcasm is implied in the previous sentence)

When are the Bobcats going to do something relevant in this free agent market?

I dont really understand what the point of this signing is. We already have enough big guys.

This only makes since if they are about to trade Melvin Ely.
Surely the won\'t carry 4 power forwards onto next season\'s roster. Okafor/May/Ely/ and now Othella

Another senseless free agent pickup.

In 2 days we get 2 players thet will do nothing 4 our team. We would have been much better off takeing FISHER, and WITHERS. I just cant see any reason behind those 2 pick ups.......

We are still a little lacking with our big man rotation.

PF: EO50 - McMay - Harrington
C: Primoz - Ely - *Hollins

*more than likely in the D

So we really cant afford to trade Ely right now because we would be screwed at the 5 (unless we bring a 5 in with the trade?).

The thing that is really stupid is that Harrington can only play the 4. It\'s not like he can move between the 4 and 5 like Ely can.

The only way for this to make sence is to sign Ely and trade him and B.K. for a good solid 5.
No we cant do that now because we dont have a back up point. It looks like we letting Ely go for Othella. I thought with Jordon comeing in ,Bob would let go of few dollars. But so far it dont look that way.

This is really retarded we did better signing Fisher who played good in SL or Curtis Withers. Bobcats front office makes another big FA signing that will get us over that 20 game hump:angry:

I give up.

Screw\'em! They should have left Michael Jordan where he was, just like I said when they brought him in.

These are the dumbest moves I have ever seen!

Harrington? Herman?? Burleson???

Hopefully they are planning on trading these three stiffs for one stiff. One stiff is better than three.

Normally I try to stay positive, but I can\'t argue with you at all this time.

To me it seems like they are going out of there way not to improve this season. Maybe they want to tank this year to try to get Oden or Noah or Spencer Hawes in the \'07 draft.

If thats the case and they are trying to tank, then they won\'t have any fans left when 2007 rolls around

I agree with 2/3 of what you\'re saying. Burleson and Harrington are crap pickups pure and simple, but Hermann might actually be useful this season.

First of all, none can be as dumbest as Burleson.

In my opinion Bernie feels he has to sign someone, after plenty of the significant FA\'s have gone. Harrington is not as bad as everyone here thought, I don\'t believe he will catch 10 MPG. He will be a off-court factor. And not more than 1 or 2 years, he will stay.

About Herrmann? He will be an important role player in 2-3 years. Even now he will provide a lot off the bench.
