Chris Paul is overrated

Versus Peurto Rico The US won big, but they didn\'t actually pull away until Chris Paul was taken out of the game.

Versus China he had 1 point on 0-1 FGs.

Versus Brazil in a game that the US won 90-86, a game that they needed Paul to step up (Melo got hurt after scoring 14 1st quarter points), he was the only guy on the court for an entire 16-0 2nd half run by Brazil. AND with the US leading 89-86 with just seconds remaining, Brand blocked a shot, the ball was retrieved by Paul who was fouled - he proceeded to go to the line in this clutch situation and miss TWO free throws, giving Brazil a chance to tie. Luckily, Joe Johnson bailed him and Team USA out with a steal and a FT to ice the game.

He is overrated by media and some fans but he is still the truth on the court though. What pisses me off is the people saying that Felton will never make it to a all star game and that Paul is miles better than Felton which is not true IMO.

CP3 is good, but he isn\'t the greatest point guard since the invention of the jumpshot like all of the nba media people have been claiming that he is.

Felton will lead a team to the championship before CP3, I\'m confident of that.

CP3 has the hype machine working for him without a doubt.
Hes a nice player, but he is NOT the next Isaih Thomas like Bill Walton (I think) was claiming.

i think felton is better than paul right now.

paul played with a little more talent last year in new orleans. i dont mean they are better than us, i mean we had injuries and just couldnt string much together.

ray ray has a blow up year this 07 and paul will be mediocre due to all the hype. he will be exposed. the kid is good and will be good but isaih thomas he aint.

I still can\'t get over what he did in the wake vs state game. hitting Hodge in the nuts! He will never win a sportsman of the year award. Paul has a more consistant jumper than Ray. He also passes just as good.

I expect that within a couple of years Felton will be as good or better. Because Paul is going to have to carry his team and Felton is not.
