TSN.ca put up a good read of the \'Cats today

One of these days, the Bobcats are going to have to start spending some money. Up until now, the new Charlotte franchise was opting to build through the draft and by developing young players, but like so many Clipper teams can tell you, it\'s the veterans that are going to win you games...

In their opinion we need to add some more veterans to this roster before we make any real improvements.

Thoughts?

Very important to have veterans on your team. I don\'t think that the Bobcats should wait and try for a veteran superstar. We have players that can be all-stars now, they just need some on the court veterans.
still with just the youngens that we have I expect to make the playoffs this year.

I agree that we have a good shot at sneaking into the playoffs this season, I would have felt better about it if Big Money Bob had made a run at Chris Wilcox though.

Being compared to the old Clippers is as about as bad as you can get. Who would have thought Jordon would have come in and done nothing so far . Not me i expected some changes way befor now. Kinda looks like Jordon is a silant partner.I hope we can sneak in to the playoffs with what we got. But i to think we need a few solid vetrens be for the Bobcats become a true winning team. The thing thet pisses me off most is Bob dont even want to pay the NBA ,min. Some one please tell me what in the hell we doing.
BOB and his people sure as hell are not telling the fans any thing.

BOB and his people sure as hell are not telling the fans any thing. Right now they\'re singing that song about saving cap space until the 2007 trade deadline or next year\'s free agency. But I don\'t believe that hes going to spend any money until he absolutely has to.

Whether or not he decides to eventually pony up and spend some money is the million dollar question with Bob. If he does, then this is a franchise that is going places and has a bright future. If not, then we need to brace ourselves for the brown Donald Sterling.
