Regular season opening night! It seems like it took forever to get here:P
Wednesday night we\'ll be facing the Indiana Pacers with Jermaine O\'Neal and Al Harrington.
This is a good opportunity for us to start the season off on the right foot at 1-0.

This is a very winable game. I just want to know what the starting line-up is going to be.
Felton
Morrison
Wallace
Okafor
Brezec
or
Knight
Felton
Wallace
Okafor
Brezec
Which one do you guys think its going to be?

I think that it\'ll be:
Knight
Felton
Wallace
Okafor
Brezec
But it should be:
Felton
Morrison
Wallace
Okafor
Brezec
And at times this season, I think that this will be our most productive lineup:
Felton
Morrison
Wallace
May
Okafor

I love that 3rd line up. I hope we use it alot.
I\'m not very optimistic though about an opening night win, Pacers will win by 20

Loss by 20??? Damn, hopefully not.
I predict a loss, but I think that it\'ll be a last minute buzzer beater that does us in.

I love the 3rd lineup as well, but I would have Wallace as our 2 guard for the perimeter defense. Morrison would still be able to shoot and have May and Okafor to cover up his crappy defense. Wallace would still be able to help Morrison if needed.
It\'s harder to find a great defending SG than a great defending SF. Morrison would provide a fantastic mismatch, as well Wallace with his tremendous athleticism. Nobody can compare to his ability to drive the lane - Morrison, May, and Okafor to provide picks would be superb for Wallace to thrive in.
DUNKS GALORE!!
This may be from his Sacramento days, but it\'s a great pic -

I\'m hopeful about the opener. We can win easily if everything goes on the way. We now have a fully healhty roster, which we never found at plenty of last season.
I\'ll be looking forward to seeing a strong debut by Morrison. But he has a tough match-up, against Harrington or Jackson I suppose.
C\'mon Bobcats.

I LOVE that pic!!! I think that was a picture from the slam dunk contest, the year that he was in it with Sacramento.

I read online earlier today that Bernie says that BK and Felton will be our starting backcourt with Adam coming off the bench.
Also Primoz is questionable because of an illness that hes fighting. If Primoz doesn\'t go, I wonder if they\'ll slide Emeka to the center position and play May at the 4 or will they just start Jake Voskul in Primoz\' spot.

Up by 4 at the end of the 1st quarter on a hellacious Adam Morrison 3 at the buzzer:woohoo:
Emeka looks great with 3 blocks in the first quarter.
What was up with the goofy entrances??? I was waiting for somebody to fall down the steps and miss 40 games.

They have to tighten up things with their perimeter defense. Okafor is causing havoc in the paint, but Indy\'s guards are getting their shots too easy.

Down goes Wallace after a hard foul... Gerald\'s finally up but that was a dirty play IMO

Bernard Robinson needs to put that pet spin move of his on the shelf. In three years I\'ve never seen it work.

I wish I could be watching this game how is Felton and Ammo look?

Ammo looks waaayyy better than he did in the preseason. 13 points at the end of 3 quarters with a buzzer beater at the end of the 1st quarter.
Emeka has been off the chain defensively with 5 or 6 blocks so far.
Raymond has looked OK, but in my opinion he just isn\'t the same when he has to play off the ball at SG.

That\'s really good to hear I can\'t wait until the 3rd :D

The bad news:
The Bobcats get an \"L\" to open up the season.
Crash crashes less than 20 minutes into the game.
And we seemed to only have 2 people playing defense (Emeka and Gerald)
Raymond Felton 1 assist and 6 turnovers ( Bernie can you PLEASE play him at the point instead of shooting guard )
The good news:
Adam was solid, including hitting a huge 3 at the 1st quarter buzzer.
Emeka was HUGE, with 19 points, 13 boards and 6 blocks.

Damn hate to hear we lost but damn Emeka seems to be back and ready to prove something what about May?

I thought May looked pretty good. He had 10pts and 10 rebs.
Okafor looked great in the game. I like the block he put on Granger when he went for that dunk and Emeka stuffed it.

GOOD. Right back at Granger for injuring Wallace. If only he could be like Granger\'s \"block\" that went like this:
\"Wallace was going in for a dunk when Granger swiped at the ball from behind, hitting both of Wallace\'s arms and his shoulder. Wallace\'s head hit the floor first and he was attended to for several minutes before getting to his feet. \"
I like that Harrington went up to Granger and pushed him....I\'m a man of sportsmanlike conduct and I feel that\'s what the cat\'s need...a veteran that\'ll stick up for his team and get fire into the game.
I felt may did good, I just figured Okafor would play center since May has more of a perimeter shot and is more of an inside presence. Okafor played brilliantly though.
I definitely agree with you all on that Felton should be at the 1 and Morrison be the 2 or 3 rather than the 6th man. Put the smaller Knight in the 6th man position. Knight played well, though.

-okafor needs to develop a dunk shot
-there were some weird turnovers out there...maybe they\'re still adjusting to the new ball?
-we let them have too many offensive rebounds
-didn\'t see much of melvin ely
-morrison played OK. needs to improve ball handling/decision making
-poor TEAM defense, they missed a lot of open shots
-pray that wallace is alright, because as soon as he went to the locker room the offense struggled
-speaking of wallace...free throw much?
