View Full Version : PLEASE TRADE KNIGHT!!!
I can\'t tell you how sick and tired I am of the Bobcats starting Raymond Felton at the Shooting Guard position!!!
That\'s what they are going to do tonight.
If they can\'t bring it to within themselves to start Felton at the PG and bring BK off of the bench as the backup PG, then they need to TRADE BK!
I\'m sick of this crap, already!

Seeing BK starting over Morrison is annoying, okay. But we all know that Bobcats board tried to trade him before draft. They just couldn\'t arrange a deal. If they were able to trade him, they would already have done that.
At this point, trading BK is not a solution. Bickerstaff knows this team and players much better than us. He should haven\'t seen Morrison enough to get into starting line-up. I also want Morrison to start, but waiting the right time(if needed) is a logical choice.
By the way, trading BK wouldn\'t be a reasonable move since we have just 2(Ray and BK) true point guards.

^^^^^
Not to mention we just cut KB from the roster I don\'t understand why Felton is at the SG after what he did last season it does piss me off. Felton should play his natural position leading the team not BK.

Depressing, our season hasn\'t even started yet and we are already yelling about the lineup. Give Bernie a month or so to work out the kinks. I agree that Felton should play the point, but he\'ll be there when it counts.

Tray,
I\'m with you 100%
Raymond isn\'t going to get to run the point full time until Brevin is completely off the roster. Until that happens, Bernie is going to keep force feeding Brevin minutes.
5\'10\" and 6\'2\" in the backcourt isn\'t going to cut it. That leaves Ray guarding 6\'8\" Stephen Jackson tonight.

Actually tonight Knight will be shooting Guard for the bobcats, not Felton.

That makes more sense.

As far as trading Brevin goes though I wouldn\'t do that. He\'s way too valuable to be traded, when you consider our history with injuries and all. You just can\'t really have too much talent in the nba.

So, what you are saying is that the Bobcats can\'t trade BK for a couple of players including a back up PG for Felton?
Of course you aren\'t, because you haven\'t thought it through.
There are plenty of teams that need a steady PG, that would take BK. They could trade him for a few players, and get a back up point for Felton in the deal.

They don\'t even need to pick up a backup PG in the deal. They could trade Brevin for a backup or a young prospect at another position, then pick up a player like James \"Flight\" White as a backup PG, then cut B-Rob.

There\'s always the NBDL for a backup if needed. We also had Will Conroy just on the team...

Was it just me? Or last night in the second half did it seem like Brevin was going out of his way to get the ball to anybody BUT Adam. It almost seemed like he was freezing him out. But then again maybe it was just my imagination:unsure:

I didn\'t see the game last night but I swear he did the same exact thing you are saying with Felton last year.

Yes, I didn\'t think it that way. So didn\'t Bickerstaff. That\'s why Knight still wears Bobcats jersey.
Giving up on Knight for a few average players(including a PG) doesn\'t make me a sense. We already have lots of average players. Morrison has to convince Bickerstaff and deserve his spot in line-up. Knight would be OK coming off the bench. He had been doing this until coming to Bobcats.

I didn\'t watch the game either, but I don\'t think BK was intentionally freezing Morrison.

He definitely did the same thing to Felton last year. Used to piss me off. Felton would be in one of those zones, like he was in the Phoenix game, and BK would be passing the ball to everyone else except for Felton.
Get rid of the guy already. I\'m sick of Felton not being the PG, already.

I agree, we have to get Felton and our players that actually have a future (Morrison, Felton, May, Okafor, Wallace, etc) to mold together and form a TEAM rather than be the knicks and keep switching line-ups. The Pistons weren\'t successful just because of the talent, they had a set roster that grew to understand one another and mesh together. That\'s a team.
I agree with trading Knight, it\'s just not the right time. Just wait until someone\'s PG gets injured (like TJ Ford, or another team that relies heavily on a PG...say Allen Iverson got injured) and then rush in and get a restricted 1st rounder for him. I would be happy at that. After doing that, sign Will Conroy or someone for pure backup purposes. We have a starting 5 that shouldn\'t be tampered with.
Felton
Morrison
Wallace
May
Okafor
Key Reserves: Ely, Brezec, Carroll, Anderson(Robisnon until healthy)
