He was just waived by the Celtics, after being traded to them by the Cavs.

A 3pt stud in college, he hasn\'t been able to pan out due to injuries. He was the 10th pick in the 2004 draft.

NOW. I would LOVE to see the cats be aggressive and sign him while waiving Robinson. I absolutely must see a ballsy move by the cats sometime, and I feel this would be a great one.

Low risk. high reward; He\'s a versatile swingman who can shoot the 3, rebound, and defend, but just was never given the chance.

Granted, he has been injured(back) but I\'d rather have a higher ceiling possibility then a no chance bum at the end of our roster...the 12th man with no chance of success(robinson, anderson)

What do you guys think?

It looks like Luke would give us the same thing that Matt Carroll does ( perimeter shooting ) except Luke doesn\'t shoot it as well. I must agree however that he would be an upgrade over Bernard Robinson.
I think the Bobcats blew their chance to get something for nothing when they passed on getting James \"Flight\" White who was just picked up by the Spurs. His potential is through the roof.

I think a that Jackson just needs some seasoning. I think that if we got him, I would send him, as well as Hollins, to the NBDL to get some experience.

Jackson could eventually become a very good 6th man...or at best a starter @ SG

Regardless, he would provide great depth to our bench.

His NBA draft profile from a while back.

Hollins has been inactive for the first 3 games. Whats even more curious to me is that we haven\'t seen Walter HErmann on the court at all.

I know. Doesn\'t he need time to adjust, and shouldn\'t that be during garbage time? He at least has a chance to become useful. I also wish Matt Carroll got some more minutes, instead of Foul Machine, can\'t have a real spin move Robinson.
