JB Bickerstaff gets a 2 game suspension

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Charlotte Bobcats assistant coach John-Blair Bickerstaff was suspended two games without pay by the NBA on Friday for driving while impaired.

Bickerstaff, the son of Bobcats head coach and general manager Bernie Bickerstaff, was given a suspended sentence on Nov. 1 in Mecklenburg District Court and ordered to complete 24 hours of community service for his July 19 arrest. He lost his driver\'s license for a year, but was given a restricted license for driving to work.

I wish he had got a heavier punishment by the club. Something like firing. We all know that he is there just because of his father. I don\'t like to see Minnesota craps anymore. We got rid of Burleson, and it\'s JB Bickerstaff\'s turn.

Was he in an accident?
Anybody hurt?
A suspension should be enough for a first time offense.
If there was an accident and or injuries I\'d might have to reconsider.
