Raymond Felton -vs- Chris Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oops, wait a minute. The Hornets drafted a gifted young point guard and told him that you\'re going to be our starting PG and the leader of our team for the next 10 years. The Bobcats drafted a gifted young point guard and told him that you\'re going to sit on the bench behind a career backup for the first half of your rookie year, then we\'re going to play you out of position at SG until that career backup decides to retire.
Sorry, Just had to get that off of my chest.
Unless the Bobcats get it together soon ( Tuesday night hopefully ) then like another poster said we\'re staring at 1-9 with the Hornets, Spurs, Magic and Mavs in their next 4 games.
Does anybody have a good reason for me to be optimistic?

Keep the turnovers down, make the open shot and hit free throws and we should win. If we set another record for turnovers and don\'t fire Bernie I\'ll see you guy\'s around draft time.:(

I had a lot of hope for the Bobcats this season and I\'m doing my best not to give up on them so quickly. But if they look the same after 20 games then all bets are off.

I haven\'t been this frustrated since the tarheels went 8-20.

If we\'re frustrated about the way that the Bobcats are playing, then I\'m hoping that Michael Jordan is raising some Hell behind the scenes at the Bobcats offices.

I certainly hope he is! He wanted ownership of a team, now he\'s got it and I really thought we\'d have heard more out of him as the season went on. I haven\'t heard a thing from him.

agreed. It\'s ironic that Bernie Bickerstaff was by the Wizards for underperforming.
Michael Jordan better flip out soon and can him. I wonder if he might take a chance and attempt to coach?
All I know is that Brevin Knight does not provide the bobcats with the best chance to win by a long shot. Raymond Felton does, plain and simple.

can you people get over this pg situation? i\'ve never seen a group of fans cry more than you guys. you\'re all UNC fans, aren\'t you? it would be a different situation if brevin was playing poorly, but HE ISN\'T! he\'s playing pretty well, and you need to get over it. if raymond isn\'t complaining about playing sg, then why should you?

I think he\'s playing out of position but I still think that BK is playing good. My complaint is that as a team we are playing like shit! The coach should have us playing better, and if he doesn\'t do his job better then we need to fire him and get somebody that can.

^^^^^^^
It\'s not about if BK is playing good or not it\'s about sucess for our team and from out record Felton/Knight combo is not working. Felton is most productive when he is running the team let BK come off the bench.
Hopefully we can get this win tonight I\'m not going to give up on the Bobcats even thought they can fustrate the hell out of you sometimes.

Bobcats 1-5 Hornets 4-3. We\'re both on a 3 game losing streak. Who wants to end their losing streak the most Bobcats or Horents?
If the Bobcats have 15 or more turnovers then we lose this game.
Okafor is the only player thats been playing well.
Wallace hasnt been the same since he took that fall. Morrison\'s not shooting well. May\'s being too inconsistent, and Knights been playing decent. If Morrison or Wallace step up tonight and play a good game then I think we win this game.

Yes BK is playing good, and I\'m more frustrated with Bernie for having this team underperforming. We are playing like shit. I seriously doubt Raymond would complain, because he\'s a good team player.
P.S. I\'m a Uconn fan, not a UNC fan :P

Who is going to guard Peja???? Both Raymond and Brevin give up about 7 inches matched up against him.

Chris Paul and Ray Ray are both talking with each other on News14. They both put each other over which is good to see.

Good Question. Adam Morrison did well against Lebron, and is one of the few players who plays Peja\'s spot and has similar size. I doubt the lineup will be shaken up with a player who\'s ice.

On NBA.com it says that Felton, Knight, Morrison, Wallace, and Okafor are starting....is that right?

Yep, they are starting Gerald at the power forward spot. Bernie Bickerstaff is going to get him injured if they play him at that spot for any length of time.

I believe it is. It\'ll be interesting to see if Morrison or Wallace will be the PF. I think it\'s a good move to put Morrison in there, having Brandon Bass replacing David West. This should be a good time for him to gain confidence, and Bass shouldn\'t expose Morrison\'s potential defensive lapses.

Holy crap Peja has scored 17 points already
Morrison and Okafor are also dominating. They\'ve scored all 17 points at well.
Anderson and May are already in...crazy. Felton is at the point...let\'s hope Anderson can defend Peja....

Memo to Bernie Bickerstaff: Bernie, you may want to consider having somebody GUARD PEJA!!!!!!!!

Good first quarter I guess...tied 34-34. Emeka is beasting. Morrison is shooting well. Lets keep this up...oh, and we need to GUARD PEJA!

We\'re tied at 34 after the first quarter. Okafor is dominant, as is Peja.
Peja is 7-7, and is 4-4 beyond the 3 pt line. Put Wallace or someone of comparable size on Peja!!!
If anyone watches the play by play online, foxsports is the most detailed one that is up to date right now...since espn, yahoo, nba, and si are acting up.

I like what I see out of Adam Morrison. Not to throw gasoline on the fire, but he seems tl play way better when Ray is running the show instead of Brevin.

55-52 at the half. They got the lead. Okafor already has a double-double. Good to see Morrison is shooting better. May has double digits too.

5 fouls on BK, and he almost got tossed for running his mouth.

We lost 94-85. Stojakovic broke a franchise record by scoring 22 1st period points(It might be our franchise record also!!).
I saw the short clip of the match, in plenty of possesions, Morrison was guarding(!) Peja. In recent matches, we concede tons of points by the rival\'s SF. Remember Carmelo, Lewis and even Wally. We have a great problem at that point I guess.
Emeka\'s extraordinary performances are unfortunately not enough for wins. He scored 20+ points and took 15+ rebounds in each of last 4 matches. He will probably be named as player of the week. But what about rest?

fun game to watch. Peja was unstoppable.
adam did a pretty good job i think, even wallace our best defender couldnt guard him. he just had one of those nights i guess.
crash just isnt crash this year. i havent seen that spark yet from him and im worried about it, he has this look on him like i could care less right now. Does anyone else feel like there might be a little tension between him and bernie. Crash not playing hard, bernie sitting him for long minutes. I dont know maybe im manufacturing drama, but something isnt right there at all.
i feel safer with brevin at the point guard position right now. ray had a couple huge turnovers last night, and his shot is still a little inconsistent. say what you want about BK and stunting rays growth, but you cant be nervous when he has the ball.
Sean May and Emeka played unbelievably well last night. 7 Blocks for Emeka. ALL STAR.

Something is up, I can\'t figure out wha it is though:(
Last night, sean May showed that hes ready for starter\'s minutes. 18 points and 11 boards is strong. If he can play that way consistently, then a May/Okafor combo could be a rebounding force.
