Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady and Shane Battier come to town Friday night with a record of 12-6.
Yao Ming has been THE most dominant big man in the NBA this season ( Sorry Shaq ::) ) averaging 25+ points a game. Emeka is a hell of a defender, but hes going to have his hands full with Yao on Friday, giving up 7 inches. If we can stay close in that matchup and if we can get some shots to fall (Ammo) then we have a good shot at sneaking out a win. For some reason T-Mac doesn't scare me anymore, does everybody else think his best days are behind him, or is it just me?

Tracy Mcgrady's days of being a star are over. He's above average now due to his back killing his career.

Good thing we didn't get Bonzi Wells though!! LOL

Their lineup is definitely beatable. We have much better depth than them.

For an off topic, would anyone else agree with me that they'd give a 2nd round pick or trade Bernard Robinson and cash to get Kirk Snyder? I've always like his game and would be a good reserve.

McGrady may not be a superstar anymore. But he is the scoring champ of 2003-04. Don't ignore this fact. And our rivals always ripped us with their SFs(Remember Peja, Carmelo etc.) McGrady would be the man of match. Yao doesn't scare me at all. If Emeka stays out of early foul trouble, I'm sure he'll do a good job to keep Yao cold. And if that happens, we'd extend our record vs. Rockets to 4-1!!

I looked at a Rockets fan forum, and plenty of them are expecting a blowout by Rockets. That's funny.

I'd take anyone after giving away Bernard Robinson. I never liked him. Kirk Snyder would be a good choice, he might add some power off the bench offensively. Although presence of Adam Morrison, I have to admit we still lack offensively when he's shot down.

But my favourite scoring-type-bench player is Jannero Pargo.

Tracy McGrady is still the truth. In my opinion hes still one of the top 10 players in the league.

It's going to be interesting seeing Ming and Mek go at it tonight hopefully we can improve our record.

I haven't watched a Rockets game this year, but has anyone been able to stop Yao so far this year?
Okafor vs Yao will be a great match-up tonight though.
I agree that McGradys best years are behind him. He's still good, but I dont find him much of a threat.

McGrady is ripping us. I'm saying again, we CANNOT defend SF's. And McGrady isn'T finished. He's going to a huge triple-double.

And by the way, each player of us is ice-cold. We're 5-24 from field and made 6 turnovers. Rockets doubled us, 38-19. It looks like another humiliating loss is coming

We are getting our asses severely kicked. Unless something changes quick, we're looking at a 30 point blowout.

Fortunately that torture came to an end. They blew us out 92-62, we shot probably franchise worst 28% We should have done several franchise lows.

We're coming to a turning point. I cannot wait for more seasons to see at least a "team". We cannot make our future plans regarding Oden. We should also think about "the moment we're in". Bernie and Jordan should send some messages to some players. Or against Phoenix, we will face a loss something like 130-70.

That game was horrible... We're playing worst than we did in season one when we were a brand spanking new expansion team.

Changes need to be made, And soon. >:(

can we say, GAVE UP????

mek didn't even get 20 minutes. pathetic.

When Adam gets 29 minutes and shoots 1-11, he needs to hit the showers or the bench. I propose he is the 6th man next game.

What angers me more, is that B-rob got more minutes the mek, wallace, brezec, Ely, and 1 minute less than May. 1-5 shooting was very productive, Bernie.

you guys do realize that 3rd year expansion teams average about 25 wins? your expectations for this team are ridiculously high.

and we should be hoping for kevin durant, not greg oden :P

I understand that, but we got to 26 wins last season with a slew of injuries. This year we seem to have taken a huge step backwards. If the Bobcats keep playing like this then we'll get 19 or 20 wins TOPS this year.

yeah scones i do realize we just arent that good.

weve gotten above average win totals each of our seasons. weve risen above expectations. i dont even expect this team to make it to the playoffs this year.

but gettin blown out by 30 points and 20 points in seasons is ridiculous.

outcoached in every single game. as long as we arent going to the playoffs, we might as well get a new coach in here and deal with his adjustment period while we are in a lame duck season. no sense in losing because of inexperience next year when we have excuses this season

I think also a large part of why we all thought we would be successful this year was largely in part of getting 26 wins with all the injuries, but we did not take into acount that the other teams have vastly improved as well.

thats the thing,,, the other teams havent improved at all.

we should be competing. this year the EAST is maybe the worst confrence ever in pro sports. and just under .500 would get us a playoff spot this year.

we should be competing at the very least. there is no excuse to getting blown out by 20 and 30 points and losing games when your in the situation.

Bernie is the problem. we should be freakin competing.
