He's been playing horribly lately. Sluggish, horrible defense, and can't think of making a good shot.
from ESPN:
Look, we knew he'd be fairly one-dimensional, but lordy. This guy makes Lara Flynn Boyle seem well-rounded.
Morrison is a 6-9 forward playing 35 minutes a night, and yet he's grabbed three offensive rebounds the entire season. While I'd expect the 38.5 percent shooting mark to improve, Morrison's marks of 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists aren't nearly enough to offset his occasional scoring outbursts.
In fact, his 4.5 rebound rate is the worst of any player 6-7 or taller, and only one player bigger than 6-3 (more on him below) is worse.
That kind of his hard.

Think he needs to be on the court as much as felton. Playing time and practice is what he needs. Oh, and better coaching!!!!!!

i agree he hasnt been playing great... but for god sakes who cares
were gettin blown out by 30 everynight i say give him the ball and let him develop
he will be ok. the other teams are playing defense against him like he is a 9 time all star with 6 rings. youd think he was jordan they way they rush to get him.
and on defense i really dont see much problem with his defense. he gets there late occasionally, but he can run with anyone and hes usually right there with a hand in his face. he will be ok in the long run.

I agree give him time he'll start to produce on both sides of the ball HOPEFULLY everyone is not going to be a Lebron as a rookie it takes time. When you're getting blown out like this individual stats don't matter but we also need offense and fans are expecting Ammo to be that guy for us.

Another reason that hes in a 4 game slump is that hes had a stretch of rugged defenders guarding him. Tayshaun Prince, Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier and Raja Bell back to back to back to back are enough to mess up any rookie's mind.

I think a lot of my reasoning has to do with him not having anybody truely pushing him to perform. In college he had to perform to keep their rank. Here, he doesn't, and is handed a starting gig. I think he needs someone or something to push him to greatness.

Even though I don't like Bernie, if Adam wasn't ready to play then he'd be sitting. Bernie has proven that with Felton.

Adam has of course been pulled, because bernie likes to take what little security and confidence our rookies have and crush it under his fat ass head.
no adam in the starting lineup. instead of letting him work through it hes benching him. it may work, but we shall see. even if it does get adam out of his slump bernie still sucks

I did not mean bench Morrison as in keep him off the court, I meant more towards have him come off the bench. Kind of like what May is doing. Still has the minutes, just not starting. Since he went to being a reserve, he has been steadily producing ;D

I'll admit he's improving where from the bench. I really think we have an all-star or two on this team. just going to take more than a couple of years. In about 5 years we will be in the playoff mix, maybe even past the first round. If we continue to draft as well as we have it could be sooner than that.
