Nate pushed JR off of his teammate...JR tackled Nate...Nate did some Jujitsu-Judo type throw to put JR on his back.

Meanwhile, Melo is flinging Channing Frye onto the floor by his jersey.

Nate gets up, but JR unsatisfied with his ass-whooping holds on to Nate's legs, and waits for a teammate to break them up before throwing a punch at Nate (which may or may not have connected). Nate goes around the crowd and tells JR "COME ON" while JR, ashamed at the last L he took, gets held back by George Karl.

Meanwhile, Melo sneaks around an assistant coach and smack-punches Mardy in the face. Jared, angered by Melo's heartless tactics, begins to give chase to an already-running Carmelo Anthony. As Jared gives chase, Camby tries to stop Melo from looking completely bytch made by holding him so he can catch his ass whoopin, to which Melo breaks away and continues to run. Just as Melo reaches half court, Robinson starts to give chase, but as reaches the left side of the court, Melo has already back-sprinted to his bench.

Mardy Collins runs around the whole crowd of players to chase after CarJELLO Anthony for his previous attack *footage of what happens is not shown*. Collins then backs away as the bench players shield their star player from engaging in a fair 1-on-1 fight.

Normalcy returns to the court.

Nice fight recap

I'm thinking that Carmello gets at least a 10 game suspension. We all know how David Stern likes to "send a message"

We're recently the luckiest team of the league. Our last two games were against injury-plagued teams, and now we'll face Knicks minus Collins, Robinson and Jeffries if they face more than 1 match ban. Although these aren't crucial players of Knicks, advantage is advantage.

I agree with ziggy, Stern will send a message all over the league. JR, Melo will face heavy punishments as well as Nate and Mardy.

Melo gets a 15 game suspension. Nate Robinson and J.R. Smith get 10 game suspensions.

What surprised me was that the Knicks beat the Jazz in OT 97-96. Starbury went off, as did David Lee. Wow. Maybe they're not total wastes when they lose some of their guys. lol.

Nate deserved ALL 10 of those games, he was one of the biggest instigators in the whole mess.

I would have given Melo 25 games for stirring up the pot. It was calming down until he came in. Nate probably deserved 15-20, largely based on previous "examples".

Nate should get 25 games just because he looked like a little yapping chihauhau out there.

Can somebody explain to me why these supposedly hardcore thugged out roughnecks in the NBA fight like 6 year old girls? Every fight in the last 10 years ( not involving Charles Oakley ) has involved somebody throwing a weak punch, then backedalling as fast as they can. :g:
