This game should be a gimme for the Bobcats. They're coming off of 4 days rest and the Knicks' roster should be depleted becue of suspensions that they are surely going to get hit with because of their brawl with Carmelo Anthony and the Nuggets.
Another positive that we have going for us is that Knicks are coached by Isiah Thomas, This is one of the rare occasions where we aren't at a distinct coaching disadvantage.
Isiah and Bernie's ineptitude on the bench will likely cancel each other out.
This should be an easy win. Thoughts?

I agree with ziggy. Isiah is almost as bad as Bernie.
First, the good news. They'll be playing without Nate Robinson, Jared Jeffries and Mardy Collins. The bad news is the worst possible, May is out 7-10 days. But I believe we still have the enough scoring punch to beat 'em at Garden.

I predict Matt Carroll gets more minutes and goes off. He gets 22. Morrison will continue being the 6th man and get 16.
Felton will dish like Nash.
Wallace, will obliterate What is left of the team with his dunks.
We win 102 - 94.

I don't know the fates may have conspired against us on this one:
Due to injuries and suspensions, Isaiah is forced :o into putting his best starters on the court; Curry, Frye, Lee, Crawford and Marbury. That's no all-star team but Frye and Lee are high quality players and this group played well together in beating the Jazz last night.
The Bobcats aren't so fortunate; our hottest and best scorer Sean May is out (yes by far our best scorer - I hope somebody in orange is realizing that....he's playing like an all-star right now), the guys will need to step up, hopefully Wallace, Okafor and Felton will get points. Morrison is a wild card. Here's my favorite starting lineup for the cats, which umm hasn't happened yet:
Okafor
May
Wallace
Carroll
Felton
with Brezac, Voskuhl, Knight and Morrison as quality backups - Robinson, Anderson, Harrington and Ely on the bench....boy Brandon Roy sure would look nice at SG right now :P

Hell, with a lot of their players suspended we "SHOULD" win this one easily.
Guess what the key word is.

It says on the Bobcats website that Brevin will sit this one out due to his groin injury. A Bernie pull, perhaps?
That brings up an interesting proposition. With May and Knight out. Who will take most of the minutes? My guess is either Anderson or Carroll. I would definitely love to see Hollins and Herrmann get in there. I'd also be happy to see Ely out there.
Just keep Bernard OUT!

I have to change my injury-update.
Knicks will also have Steve Francis and Quentin Richardson out of action, as well as Jeffries, Collins and Robinson. They will play with 9 active players. I pull my "we are the luckiest team" motto back, we'll play without Sean "Fat on Fire" May and Brevin Knight.
But however, we have better chances to land our 3rd road victory of the season.

I have a feeling that the Knicks are going to catch a solid beatdown tonight. They won last night despite the suspended players from their roster but eventualy having a shorthanded roster is going to catch up with them.

This is a game we should win....lets go bobcats!

I certainly hope we crush them. It says on Yahoo! that Derek Anderson will be starting in place of Brevin, with Raymond sliding over to the point. Our lineup will be this:
PG Felton
SG Anderson
SF Wallace
PF Okafor
C Brezec
While the Knicks will have:
PG: Marbury
SG: Jamal Crawford
SF: David Lee
PF: Channing Frye
C: Eddy Curry
Okafor should be able to dominate inside against Frye and Curry. I would like to move Okafor to Center to guard Curry and his rejuvinated offense, but I'm sure Bernie thinks Primov will be able to handle it...
The real x-factor will be Wallace vs. Lee. Lee is a rebounding and high % shot machine, and Wallace is well, himself. Whoever does better in this matchup will win the game.

I'm with you on the idea of using Emeka at center. Primoz has been pretty useless so far this season.

If Brevin is out with a groin and Bernie shows up with a mysterious wrist injury, then I think we have a story. :g:

Brezec did pretty well on the offensive end, scoring 21 points, but also only had 6 boards and fouled out. Curry and Frye had their way with him on the boards, and the shots. (a combined 59 points and 15 boards on 25 of 40 shooting
Okafor, he's held his own. It makes it more visible we need Oden or Thabeet, or some force at center if Okafor is not going to be there.
David Lee, where did you come from rebounding so damn well??

That was frustrating seeing the ticker just pop up "111-109".
As usual, our 3rd quarter ruined us. We suddenly decided we suck and don't need defense OR offense.
I wonder what Bernie puts in the water fountain in the locker room.

6 of 18 shooting, 2 of 6 on the treys, 2 boards 3 assists, 14 points. NOT ONE FREE THROW ATTEMPT. He's gotta be more aggressive and drive the f'in lane.

Makes me sick. Their damn Knick heroics 2 nights in a row. Did they stop to consider their top fg% player on the team that's been the biggest threat MIGHT be taking a shot with that short of time left.
Bernie, I hope you get testicular cancer and a nut explodes.

One would think that they might want to play a little defense on Lee, but I guess Bernie had some super strategic plan that he preferred to use instead.

Is it called a magic 8 ball? maybe a oujia board?

Losses like this make it hard to be a Bobcats fan. :-\ I'm sure that somewhere in this situation that there has to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Just Imagine cubs fans, Golden State Warriors fans, Portland fans, and other teams like that. We're only in our third year and we're at least competing. It sucks, but at least we have some hope, or at least I think so.

You're right, we haven't begun to reach the level of futility of a Chicago Cubs fan or in my opinion the worst situation in sports a Detroit Lions fan.

Or even the Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Indians, etc.
Those teams just scream "suck". When the Charlotte Bobcats are mentioned, people are like "who?" :(
