Tonight the Wizards and Agent Zero - Gilbert Arenas come to town. Gilbert has been on an insane roll lately, hes averaging over 30ppg and he even dropped 60 points on Kobe a week ago. With that being said, the matchup of the night HAS to be Raymond -vs- Gilbert. Ray is going to have his hands full.

G M. Carroll D. Stevenson
F G. Wallace C. Butler

Thoughts on tonight's game?

We're down 61-53 with a minute left in the 2nd quarter, and judging from the yahoo box score, Felton, Morrison and Okafor are having decent games.
Anybody watching on League Pass?

I like the numbers that I'm seeing from Ray. 12 points, 7 assists and 2 steals at halftime.

Why is it that the games that look the most exciting wind up not being televised??? Murphy's Law I guess.
With 5 minutes left, Gerald is going crazy with 34 points and 14 boards. Damn, I need to get league pass.

Gerald, if only you did this consistantly from night to night. Hopefully all star break on he just becomes a consistant beast

36 points, 14 boards (6 offensive) , 6 steals, 4 blocks. Those are stud stats.

and why did they take Raymond out of the game and put in Derek Anderson?? Felton has been lighting it up and Derek can't hit a shot to save his life anymore.

Felton fouled out.
114-107 is the final. Gerald had the Bobcats statline of the year
40 points, 14 rebounds, 6 steals, 4 blocks :wow1: too bad that it couldn't coincide with a win :(

If we can't win with an insane 40 point performance from Gerald, a 22 point 8 assists performance from Felton and a 17 point 5 assist game from Adam then how are we ever going to win?

Wallace was a monster 1st bobcat to hit the 40 this year . And had all most 4 mins to get a season high. REFS and BERNIE screwed us tonight. ALL THE PLAYERS PLAYED GREAT........ The best they played all year . Felton had at least 3 tic tack fouls thet should have not been called. The game was ours til he fouled out. Morrison made the best desions with the ball hes made all year. But ever time some one started to get hot BERNIE pulled them out. Matt, Morrison , Felton,
GREAT GAME TO SEE, GOOD team thet just needs a coach.
OH YEA the place was packed reminded me of the old L.J. Morning . days.

ok dav... that pisses me off. the one freakin night i decided to not go and give my tix away.... the place has a good atmosphere... damn

gerald peaking again good news...

and dav your exactly right. we have the talent. that is obvious.... if MJ or BOB or someone cant see that our major downfall right now is COACHING ... then someone else needs to step up. its getting ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous. stat lines and positive notes on almost all players and we still lose.

BERNIE HAS TO GO AND IM FREAKIN SICK OF SAYIN IT. After the new year.... the T-SHIRT comes out for real.

im bringin signs, im chanting. im doin whatever i have to do. that lame ass cant be our coach anymore.

All I can say is....defense!!!

The crowd must have hit a spot for the team, actually having fans coming to the game.

The Wizards are a talented team, and Arenas has that shutdown ability that we don't have :(

Hopefully Raymond will be the starting PG after the success he has had playing the natural position. Once Raymond starts playing, Gerald continuously lights it up. I figure we add up May and have Knight as the backup PG/6th man, these tough losses should translate into wins.

Gerald showed the best performance of our history. There's no doubt about it. But wasting that huge play is really tough. We should have won this game. I didn't watch the game but I'm sure REF's called so many fouls to our players that aren't actually foul. Because we have no Arenas, we face no respect.

Gerald is nowadays playing just like we want him to be. He deserve a 8-9 million per year contract. Felton is playing great but his inconsistent shooting pct. and turnovers are problems. And we have no real back-up PG to rest him, when Brevin is out. Derek Anderson seems as he lost his enthusiasm. Brezec is really having difficulties to re-adjust into lineup. And Bernie... He needs to learn what kind of a feeling to fire himself as soon as possible.

I'll be waiting May's return.

Arenas got the Jordon call after crying to the refs . Felton was in his face the whole time . But three of those fouls was BS.
Got a question for all you guys the wife and i was talking about after the game. WHY does JORDON never himself at ANY of the games. Dam he shows himself for 3 mins at the New York game and gets a standing O for five
Just haveing Jordon thair close would be great for the fans and give the players a reason to show off thair game.
WOW Wallace was monster last night.............
Harman might have the biggest hands in the NBA . Never saw no one palm a ball as easy as this guy can. Hell he dont need a left hand at all .

I've been thinking about that myself, and thats one that I can't figure out :g:
Why would MJ spend the money to buy into this team if he isn't going to be a strong presence. Do you think it was bait and switch on the part of Bob John$on? Maybe Bob told Mike that he would have decision making authority, but backpedalled on that once MJ bought in.

My wife thinks hes just setting back this year watching. Then next year hes going to clean house of ALL the dead beats. She thinks hes watching every coach and player to see who needs to go. She says the Bobcats have a lot of money to make all the changes Jordon wants. She all so thinks jordon will be the Bobcat coach a year or two til he gets the team he wants. Playing the way he wants.
I say it would be nice to see his face once in a while.

If he isn't doing everything in his power to win, then Bernie IS one of the deadbeats that need to go.

Agree with all of this. Wallace (consistancy pending) deserves the 8-9 mil if he can prove he's a viable #2 scoring option. We already know his defense is stellar and is coming into his own, and should only get better.

Raymond should only improve as well. His fg% will improve with consistancy of a position, and with BK out, this is perfect time for it . Last year when he was in the lineup and playing his natural position, he started lighting it up. I believe we're about to see fireworks in him; I predict in the next week he gets a triple double.

Anderson, it seems to happen to him a lot with him losing heart. After being on the Spurs during championship runs it must be hard to be on a building team.

Brezec will eventually come on. He's probably just getting back into shape physically and mentally like Wallace did. It just takes time, unfortunately.

Bernie, what can I say other than I wish you the best regards, and hope the door doesn't hit you in the ass when you're shoveled out of the coaching job.
