Well while Wallace will hurt not being available, I could care less about Ely. I only hope we reach a deal with someone about trading him.

Elys not going to make the road trip to play the pistons .Head coach Bernie says he has a CALF sriain. Might be a good time to get Hollins into a game. Kinda sounds like a trade in the works any one heard any romors.
Wallace has not been able to practic yet and Bernie said he would be lucky to be able to play friday. That sholder must be worse than thought . The week is up now and not able to practic yet.

Me too. We lost so many picks without taking nothing back(remember Rush, J.Jones trades), hopefully we'll take something back.

im hoping hollins gets into the game.... the kid has obvious talents and some downfalls. the more early playing time in certain situations the better. if only we had a coach who coached and taught on talent instead of a buddy system.

I was reading where New Jersey loves his low post scoring but has absolutely no faith in his rebounding or defense. Otherwise he probably would already be traded.

I think it does sound suspicious as well, seeing as there has been no other indication, and he obviously does not play enough to over-exert himself.

I think the teams that are interested are the suns, the Warriors, and the nets. I think we MIGHT be able to squeeze a 1st rounder out of someone, but will probably have to make a package deal. What about a Miami deal that goes like this: Dorell Wright and a 1st/2nd rounder for Ely and Knight :biggrin:

I think Phoenix may want to knab Knight for a backup, since there is no faith in Marcus Banks.

Golden State may also be interested in Knight, since Baron Davis is so injury prone.

Another team to throw into the mix for BK is the Pistons. They are looking for a backup to Chauncey Billups, and he would actually fit into their halfcourt game nicely... I haven't matched up salaries though to see what we might be able to pillage off of their team though.

The Charlotte news paper said Yesterday Thet Ely requsted a trade to a team where he could get playing time. Bernie said he would try and work a deal but would not hurt the team.
Ely not going on that road trip to day . Makes me think a deal is is in the works . I just have a feeling Ely wont be hear much longer.
