Man... It seems like we've had a month since we've had any games. Wednesday night we'll be on the road to play the Pistons. We'll be without
Crash --> Shoulder
Ely --> Calf (hopefully bogus injury thats being used as an excuse to keep him out of the game until a trade is made)
Brevin Knight --> groin issues, abdominal issues, alien head issues

The Bobcats haven't played in so long, that I have no idea what to expect...
How do you guys see this game shaping up?

I see a good spanking in order. The Pistons are tired, and coming into their game tonight against the 76ers, they have lost 4 of 5.

I see us being fresh the major factor. Okafor dominates Rasheed down low, and Morrison/Carroll should be able to be double trouble against Tayshaun Prince.

I also see a spanking on the basis of Chauncey Billups being out, and Flip Murray taking his place. Ray Ray should be able to put an ass whooping on him.

Just contain Rip Hamilton!

Prince played 42 minutes, Hamilton 35 and Wallace 30. They might be tired. But despite not being a natural PG, Flip Murray had 12 assists @Philadelphia. This is interesting. Also Saunders started Maxiell and Wallace came off bench. That's an odd decision.

Even if we have a better chance now than in ordinary conditions, I don't think we'll win although we're extremely fresh. If Okafor gets into foul trouble as early as @Magic, we can win none of the games.

i'm not going to lie, I think we will lose tonight without g-force but hopefully i'm wrong

I dont know what to expect tonight. Not having Wallace takes away a lot of fire power. I THINK WE CAN WIN TONIGHT BUT WE BETTER BRING OUR A GAME.

Detroit is probably still pissed about the win that we that we got on them earlier this season. If they're focused, they'll probably really try to put a beatdown on us. :-\

yes, it's always entertaining to see scrawny white guys actually play well, unless their name is J.J. Redick.

"I make it rain" is lyrics sung by Lil Wayne. This song gets me pumped up for balling on the courts and is now going to be blaring in the radio as we drive to crown town to watch our Bobcats play!!!!! Also just want to say that this website is the greatest! GO BOBCATS

That is good for any team, Captain, and I think the bobcats have proven that they can beat almost any team out there if they bring their "A" game. Winning without G-Force against a good Detroit team on the road can be a huge confidence booster for this young bobcats team. If Morrison is "on" he can be a huge and hard-to-stop offensive weapon, but if he's having an "off" game he is just another body on the court. Playing a red-hot knicks team will be a challenge, though. They will all need to play well if they want to compete with New York.

Let's just hope that the Detroit win was not an aberration due to Billups being out.

The knicks, well, I think we'll get Wallace back and that should alleviate some stress. If we can get some points out of Okafor and May, we should stand a very good chance at the W.

One thing I liked about tonights game was that we made 32 of 38 free throws, and we shot 10 more FT than the Pistons. That's a good sign. Especially with Matt getting 10 shots at the charity line.

It was also good to see Matt outplay Tayshaun. While Tayshaun had a good game, he was outrebounded and outperformed by Matt. WOO! :cheers1:

All in all, I was happy with the entire teams performance. Let's go down the list

Matt - See above
Okafor - Double double, I cannot complain.
Brezec - 5 points, 3 boards in 12 minutes, you're still a waste
Derek Anderson - 11 points 3 boards, 2 steals. He seems to be waking up.
Ray "The disher" - 18 points, 3 boards, 7 assists. I'm happy with that
McMay - 14 pts 8 boards in 28 minutes. Can't go wrong there.
AMMO - 16 points, gettin your job done.
Jeff Mcinnis - A surprise here. 7 pts on 3-3 shooting. 2 assists in 13 minutes. Good job.
Voskuhl - 7 boards 5 points in 14 minutes, I can live with that for a backup.

Good job team!

That was just phenomenal. We didn't let the lead go away after a strong Piston streak at the end of 3rd, and we answered it a better streak. We are learning how to keep leading. Congratulations guys.

Matt made 7 of 8 free throws for intentional fouls. That's what iced the game. We can say at least we have our go-to-foul shooter guy.

And I'm not sure but Detroit's 8 points in the second quarter should be our Franchise Low. What a quarter that was.

Good job by the cats by not letting the pistons back in the game late, i don't think they got within 4 in the 4th quarter. thats how we need to protect leads.

looks like the cats got their win of of the week, dont be shocked if they go on a 3 game skid.

I doubt it. I say we go 2-1. We play the Knicks, Philly, and Milwaukee.

So let's see. Scum, worse than us, and 2 injured starters that are key to the team.

Icing on the cake.
