Who do you think the biggest rivals of the Bobcats are. They've only been around 3 years so I don't expect them to have many big rivalrys yet. Some of my friends seem to think its the Hawks but that is only because Atlanta is the closest city to Charlotte.

I would have to say the Hawks are our biggest rivals because they are so close but they are also close to us in the standings

I'd have to go with the Washington Wizards or the Orlando Magic.
With Washington it always seems to be a shootout, and with the Magic I'd say the Dwight Howard VS. Emeka is aways brought into play.
Cases could also be made for the Cavs and we have the makings of one against the Knicks after the .1 tip-in.

i would say the magic, cuz of the d. howard and e. okafor being drafted close to eachother. but i would have to say the hawks cuz the series has been pretty even and we are always towards the bottom of the league. possibly a rivalry could be brewing between the cats and the pistons!!!

Hopefully some more good rivalries will develop. Once they start getting better it should come naturally. the playoffs make rivalrys more fierce. Once the bobcats become a playoff team, we may see some nice rivalrys.

Orlando are our rivals
Same division
Emeka vs. Howard
Felton vs Jameer
Ammo vs JJ
Makes sense...

In all honesty, I think that we consider the Magic rivals way more than they consider us rivals. Its going to be that way until we can keep up with them in the standings.
It might take something like a one of our star players leaving in free agency and going to another team ( Hornets flashback: Like Zo did when he left the Hornets to go to the Heat ) to really create a heated rivalry.
Could you imagine how much heat a guy like Adam Morrison would catch if he started to light it up in the next year or two, then bolted to a team like the NY Knicks for example.

I would go to his place and Crush his skull!!
Then I would take Channing Frye.

Dead Real is exactly right
orlando and the bobcats mirror eachother so much its crazy. player wise and all. Charlotte and orlando got their original franchises about the same time.
i think the fans get up for that one too.. at least the informed passionate fans. i dont like em.. i wanna beat em when we play. thats what makes a rivalry you just dont like someone.
the hawks... i already feel like were better than them
so i could care less about em
