Wednesday Night the Bobcats welcome to town the soap opera that is better known as the New Jersey Nets.
The Nets have a ton of drama going on right now:
The Jason/Joumana Kidd divorce and allegations of child abuse... Its
a mess (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AqjvP1yWQLy2MHWWnOPIvAS8vLYF?slug=aw-kidds011607&prov=yhoo&type=lgns)
Richard Jefferson's mysterious black eye (http://www.nypost.com/seven/01132007/sports/nets/net_work_news_nets_fred_kerber.htm)
The ongoing rumor that Richard Jefferson likes dudes (http://supersonics.aolsportsblog.com/2006/12/08/there-may-be-a-new-jersey-net-who-likes-dudes/)
and so on and so on. The Nets are overwhelmed with drama.
Oh Yeah, we may also get a chance to see Bernard Robinson and his world famous spin move... if he can get his ass unhinged from the bench.
With all of the drama going on with the Nets, maybe they'll be distracted and we can cruise to a victory on Wednesday.
Thoughts?

I predict a 106 - 101 victory. Sean May will absolutely have a coming of age party and light up the weak front court.
Blockafor will do a MONSTROUS block on Bernard Robinson's spin move. The look on his face afterwards will be priceless. Kind of like this: :o

i think it will be an interesting matchup. there is no way we can match up with vince carter and richard jefferson without g. wallace playing. however we have a huge advantage in the post with kritic being hurt. so it comes down to the point guard, kidd against felton. . . . sadly i think the cats will lose tonight in a classic battle. hopefully i'm wrong tho

Thair team might have a lot going on right now buts its playing some of the best basketball its played all year. All i can say for us is we better have our A game tonight and if we have any let down. We going to lose . I think we going to have to hold off Kids triple dubble and Carters 35plus pts tonight in ordor to win. GOOD LUCK CATS BRING THE A GAME..............

i think your all wrong
i dont think sean may is playing tonight, i think he tweaked something and might sit tonight... so no coming of age games for him.
and i think Gerald very well may come back tonight, so we have someone to at least run with vince carter.
Ely will also likely be in the lineup tonight
Ray
Matt
Gerald
Oak
Primoz
startin five i think.... adam and carroll will split the minutes tonight, and will likely play together for awhile so that gerald doesnt have to go 40 minutes tonight.
and we will win 97-89
McInnis will also have a solid 15-20 minutes playing time and will use it to get back and the team that pushed him off the end of the bench.

A Sean May forearm right to B-Rob's grill would spice up the game a bit.

Unfortunately Mek is the only one keeping us afloat. Felton is turning the ball over and not making shots, and neither is anyone else. Please, someone tell me, why is Jake getting any minutes, let alone shots?
On a surprising note, Adam is tied for the most rebounds on the team, and is leading the team in assists :o

I just checked in on the box score and we're shooting 11-30 from the field... This isn't a televised game, but I bet they are taking too many jumpshots.
Looks likey pulled Jake after 5 minutes.

62-39 in the 3rd quarter :-\ Looks like we're on our way to another one of those 30 point blowouts.

7 points in 7 minutes for Hollins. I bet you that Bernie puts him back on the bench in the next minute or 2

92-85 New Jersey, Just from looking at the boxscore it looks like we had problems making shots again.
Matt / Adam / Ray were a combined 13-41 for a sparkling 31.7 FG%

live by the jumper die by the jumper i guess. wish this game had been on TV.
good to see hollins getting some minutes, fouls or not.
i guess gerald and sean decided to take a pass on this game? :(
that's 2 games in a row where raymond and adam couldn't throw it in the ocean. and it looks like their shooting may be rubbing off on carroll.
ok i just read the recap on si.com, bickerstaff got tossed in the 2nd quarter. dug ourselves a nice 23 point hole to try and crawl out of.
ps mek 21 boards :o

Well, Raymond was shooting a respectable 6-13 before he made 4 desperation shots in the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter.
Matt probably was double teamed and guarded by Richard Jefferson or Vince Carter. He still had 14 points because of free throws. I can live with that.
And Adam. Good ol' Adam and your stinkball game. He had more assists than Ray did....did he play point or somethin?

Sean didn't play because his knee is hurting him. I really wish we could keep just 7 guys healthy at the same time. This getting old in a hurry!

Adam had a surpisingly decent all around game with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
For those that went to the game give us a little more detail on how Adam played.

I feel bad for Emeka that he routinely puts up crazy numbers like that, but most of the time its for a losing cause.

David Robinson had to go through it as well. I figure those beastly games will start to translate into continuous wins

wow... i was at the game... but god i wish i didnt go.
First off they changed a bunch of things tonight... it was like bizarro world.
New announcers, new halftime crap.. it just sucked tonight... the atmosphere was god freakin awful. very weird im still a little freaked out about it.
anyway.
started out terrible shots just werent fallin looked like we were kind of mailin it in.
im not too pissed about it really, just looked like one of those nights. vince hit like 3 - 3 pointers from somewhere just outside Matthews. ridiculous things were fallin for them.
Then... Bernie got tossed.
and much to my suprise... JB comes in and doesnt do anything stupid.
he in fact made the substitutions that sparked our 4th quarter run.
subbed in ryan hollins for primoz. (the pillow shows some moments of real real talent and then for the other three quarters hes softer than a properly mouisturized baby butt.) who once he gets some time.... kid is gonna be nice. started out att acking the basket and playing very tough then dunks it and the fans loved him .... they were quiet all night except when he was in.
sorry so long... in summary. Excited about hollins, not terrified about JD anymore. Bobcats played like ass and still made a run.
