The Beginning of the Ryan Hollins era.............. OK, Maybe I'm jumping the gun just slightly .

It'll be interesting to see if Bernie Bickerstaff gives Ryan some minutes since he was effective in his 8 minutes in the previous game against the New Jersey Nets. It was great to have his energy on the court.

In the Bobcats previous matchup with Atlanta, we had serious problems with Joe Johnson. Who we're going to get to slow him down on Friday is a mystery, but hopefully they can do a significantly better job than they did in our previous matchup with the Hawks.
I'm predicting a 96-93 win by the Bobcats on Friday night.

Nobody on our team can guard him, he's just too good. But it takes 5 playing as 1 to win a game, so if we can slow down the rest of the Hawks then we should be able to win it.

I don't have time to go back and look at each thread tonight but have you ever predicted a loss for us? alway the optimist huh? Good luck Cats!

Yeah, in 7 career games against us, Joe Johnson has averaged 26 points. Hopefully we can contain that, cuz he always is CLUTCH.

Fortunately, Ray is a beast against the Hawks. I expect a big game from him (30 maybe?)
Emeka has never done good against the Hawks, so we have to rely on our perimeter scoring.

It'd be really nice if Mcmay was around, he's usually productive against the Hawks.

I expect big games from our guards. Bobcats win 88 - 81.

I see Morrison going off for 30+ tonight and a huge bobcat win 108-97 bobcats. i dislike the hawks more than any other team in the nba and it is always a good game against the hawks so hopefully we can pull through.

I too am sensing a bobcats victory. I think the cats have a big advantage at PG with felton over claxton. he hopefully can go for 20+ and 10+ tonght. joe johnson gives us problems, but hopefully he can be contained. i think the cats will win in a thriller, possibly OT?

I think we'll split these 2 back to back games with the Hawks. For some reason, I think we'll lose tonigt and win tomorrow.

Gerald is back, But Ray is out... Primoz is also out, so maybe we'll some minutes for Ryan Hollins.

Just saw that Jeff is starting over Ray is Felton hurt?

Like Zig said with Premo being out I hope Hollins will see some extended minutes tonight. This is a winnable game for us we just can't allow Joe Johnson to have another one of those nights.

Edit - Nevermind it's the ankle of Ray.

We're blowing out Hawks, 62-45 8.48 left in third quarter.

It's too early to talk about conclusion, but Emeka and Crash is playing great and as long as they play in this style, we won't surrender this game.

What a game, 15 offensive rebounds, balanced scoring and maybe the largest margin victory of franchise, 96-75. Tomorrow I'd like to see the same :D

If only Walter could make a FG.

That was a fun game. Emeka wreaked havoc, Adam hit his shots, Crash returned and Ryan Hollins and Walter Hermann even got in the game. Plus we got to be on the good side of a double digit butt kicking, what else can you ask for? :D

Wow, I really wish I got to see the game. I'm surprised we did so well with not having Ray.

I'm glad we got Wallace back. For only playing 30 minutes he was a beast!

Oak, go you man.

I'm glad Adam did good this game.

It only shows that when Wallace is on, it shows how important he is to the team.

GO CATS!!

few things...does anyone else notice that our team is extremely effective when gerald wallace posts up? he gets the ball in excellent position down low, backs his man in, then either makes a strong move to the basket or finds a wide-open shooter/cutter. this is the same strategy that he used all night long earlier this season vs. washington when he scored 40.

ryan hollins logging some minutes = good. don't know if he got minutes because it was a blowout or if he played while the game was still close, but i'll take it either way.

walter still on our team = bad. seriously, it's time to close the books on this guy, he's a shooter that can't shoot, and he brings nothing else to the table.

Man, did you see Hollins' second half dunk :o :o. It was a vintage Kenyon Martin dunk. I'm really high on him.

Gerald is extremely effective in the post, as he showed last season when he played a lot of minutes at PF, but I don't think his body can hold up playing too many minutes down low. Maybe he can do it a few minutes here and there without getting too battered.

crunch and tamb.... im trying my hardest not to revolt against walter hermann but man hes killin me... i havent seen a performance worthy of a bench spot yet.

great to know that if felton is hurt we have someone who can at least control a game a little in jeff mcinnis... give him some credit... he didnt do anything spectacular, but he didnt lose it for us either. controlled tempo and made good decisions. good signing

Ryan Hollins should start. our record sucks anyway.... give the kid some learning time .... play oakafor at PF and hollins at center... and we will average 11 blocks a game easy. Primoz isnt showing that hes any better than hollins right now if you ask me... so i dont see a downfall of ryan starting. Plus it seems to me that adam plays better when ryans in the game. little more energy and confidence.

I fully understand your point. And I agree that he hasn't showed a sign of deserving a spot on the roster. But all I've been saying is his need to time. I never say he'll match the expectations this year. But if he stays next season, and still will be sucking, you may say whatever you want.
