From Pro Football Weekly

We hear Panthers WR Keyshawn Johnson will be in Mobile, Ala., for the Senior Bowl to meet face to face with head coach John Fox. Were told Johnson, who threatened to retire if offensive coordinator Dan Henning was fired, wants Fox to convince him to return in 2007 without Henning.

Sources tell us Johnson doesnt want to participate in offseason workouts in Charlotte, and he doesnt want to have to learn a new offense, so hell push for an in-house candidate to fill Hennings job.
I know the media likes to re-word things and I like Key but I dont think he should have to be convinced to come back. It'll be interesting to see how this all pans out if Key retires this years draft will become even more unpredictable.

Yeah Key is a solid WR but he has already peaked as a player so if he retired it wouldn't be the all that bad. but if he did we would have to draft a one or two wrs.

Yeah Key should be begging to come back. He did good but nothing spectacular. I would say they shoud draft the best WR available.

P.S. What happened to Keary Colbert? He had an awesome rookie year and then went poof.

If Key doesn't return I think Keary or Drew are solid enough to play the two I know Keary was play hurt not to sure about this season but he's looked ok. Carter on the other hand has shown some potential since being on our squad.

It also helps Drew's case that he can run a 4.2 40. That's basically the reason he was even drafted.

P.S. I've gotta root for my hometown OSU guys

I like Drew's potential much more than Colbert's. Keary had a solid rookie year, but has been MIA ever since.

Yeah maybe we should draft Sidney Rice in the first round, who would be just as good as Keyshawn last year if not better

On About.com they're predicting Brady Quinn falls down to the mid first round. IF he fell that far, I would definitely draft him. Delhomme is good but not great, and is too reliant on Smith to fix his mistakes.

If Quinn was there at 14(where the Panthers are picking) I'd definitely nab him.

If not, I'd definitely nab a WR. Could you imagine Ted Ginn opposite Steve Smith? Defenses would absolutely criinge at the thought. Otherwise, I'd go with a USC guy to replace the former USC guy (key) in Dwayne Jarrett. 6'5" #2 to go along with the speedster Smith, that could be entertaining.
