Alan is currently in the NBDL with the Tulsa 66ers. He and Denham Brown from UCONN are the top players for the 66ers. Anderson has been averaging 26.9 MPG, 14.8 PPG, 1.1 SPG, and 1.1 APG in 11 games. Hopefully he will continue to improve and one day find a home in the NBA. I really liked him while he was here in Charlotte even though he didn't get to play much he always seemed like a good kid.

You're definitely right. If he hadn't been injured this year he probably wouldn't have been cut so soon. He definitely improved his game, unlike B-rob or KB.

Maybe next year we'll give him a 2nd chance to replace Derek Anderson, if he decides to leave the team.

or maybe we could use him to replace Hermann if he doesn't show any improvement.

I don't think he should have been cut I understand he was hurt but he sure as hell is better than Fabio from what I've seen out of him.

i'd take anderson over walter any day. i think walter hasn't been given a chance, but alan anderson was a stud at the end of last season. i honestly think he could be a good 7th or 8th man on an NBA roster. he has a solid jumper, and solid all around game. but hopefully we can get him back

What I find surprising is that draft profiles listed him as a late first round, early 2nd round talent.

I like how he finished, and seemed to be an excellent 3 pt shooter. His defense and rebounding were acceptable as well.

He also had a thing that our guards have been lacking: size and the ability to overpower/finish around the basket.

I could happily live with him being on the bench for his versatility and being a poor mans mix of Gerald and Raymond.

But keep in mind, we're all open that eventually this could switch and we'd much rather have Walt then Alan. Just Alan is more NBA ready and capable at this point in their careers.

Haha, yes; how quickly things change when players suddenly get it figured out in the NBA.

You're right, We were all a little hasty with Walter. Hopefully the light comes on for Adam this season.
