After that beatdown against the Nuggets Saturday night, I don't know what to expect from the Bobcats. The Nuggets are loaded with A.I., Melo, JR Smith, Camby and a host of others so if the Bobcats want to be competitive they'll need to be on top of their game.

well they beat us in charlotte without JR, AI, and melo. i don't like our chances after we were annhialated last game...but maybe they'll come out with a purpose and we'll see more of the team that beat the lakers.
and since i didn't see a "player of the game" option...i'll go ahead and vote for okafor...i'm seeing 20/15/5 in his future.

Does anybody know if May is playing tonight? What's the deal with his knees?
Thanks.

Welcome to the board
No word yet on Sean May's injury... This season the Bobcats doctor's seem to be slightly more cautious with the players. If they have pain, they usually make them sit out. So I wouldn't expect to see him on the court tonight.

this is gonna be tough, superstars tend to give the bobcats trouble like gilbert arenas, lebron and others. containing melo will be hard enough, and throw in AI, its that much harder. however, i think we have an advantage at PF with okafor better than nene. they have the advantage at every other position tho. i think theyll lose sadly.

I hit the laker game right on it[ over time]. I get the feeling A.I. and Mello will both be forcing shots trying to hit the game winner. Witch i think it comes to a one shot game . If they hit we lose if they miss we win by a point.
Go BOBCATS

Gerald Wallace was playing like an all star for us tonight. Player of the game goes to him!

Nice job team! The way crash has been playing we need to resign him, as he's becoming even more of an integral part of the team. I figure that once we get Marcus Williams, he'll be our Josh Howard

104 TO 101 great game Nuggets cant handle the triple headed MONSTER. Dubble dubbles , for the triple headed monsters , Felton , Crash, Blockfor.
GREAT GAME BOBCATS

great game....
right now the bobcats are playing the best they have ever played. they are ridiculously fun to watch when they are on. and sad to watch when they arent. but so goes the trials of a young team i guess.
did anyone else get a little too excited after okafor blocked melo, and ray ray threw the oop to crash. the next morning is always a little nicer after a win.

We won 2 out of 3 games in this mini western trip. That's the point. Last year we won a total of 9 games on the road. But until now, we've already won 8 road games.
A difficult offseason is waiting for us. Gerald will be a possible target for plenty of teams. We need to tie him for many years.

yeah as far as gerald goes.... its still not an open and shut case really...
you want him when hes playin like he is and he only has room to go.
but he is still crash and you dont wanna put too much money in an injury prone player.
im just playin devils advocate.... i say sign him for 13 million a year for 4 years. and wrap that up.
i think we could get away with a low bid too. I think gerald likes it here. hes not exactly a well spoken superstar ya know. i think the lax media and the low pressure he has here + the money will be enough to keep him here.

I would go upwards of a contract similar to Josh Howards. I think Crash likes it here too, and I would take the risk on a player like him. His growth as a player has been amazing to watch. Better yet, he's only 24!
Get it done Bernie.

I agree with you totaly sign Wallace as cheap as you can. But the main thing is get it done. 4 years is not that long if he gets hurt but areal long contract i would have to think about.
