I really can't understand why Ameichi being gay interested people that much. I've been reading lots of news about that. He may be, and maybe there are much more gay players who don't openly admit this. Before other people, his former teammates should think about it :).

I agree with you, if a player has skills then it shouldn't matter what their orientation is... I was mainly using this as an opportunity to poke more fun at Kareem Rush.
