What was this guy thinking...If really feels the way he does, he should have kept it to himself.

David Stern immediately pulled him out of the All-Star game activities that he was involved in this weekend.
Hardaway definitely wasn't thinking, If he was still making any endorsement money at all, then its down the drain now.

hey, if thats how he feels, he should be able to express his opinion. he may have lost some sponsorships but, hey... thats his decision. if gay ppl can be accepted in culture, why can't anti-gay people

He has every right to express his opinions, he just has to be willing to accept the financial consequences doing so.

Being gay is being treated as an ethnicity, so it's a serious offense in wide aspects.
I was listening to Opie and Anthony on XM today and it said that if "gay" jokes, slurs, or any degrading was replaced with "black" or "hindu" etc etc that the outrage would be 10 times worse though.
It is becoming a bump in the road in American culture and it'll have to be dealt with sooner or later.

You are right about him expressing his opinion, but the problem is his opinion. Hate is a strong word. How can someone's personal lifestyle which doesn't directly effect him or anybody else, cause you to hate them. I could care less about who is sleeping with who, I believe that there are more pressing issues in this world.

I'm glad Tim Hardaway grew some balls and said what he thought about gays. I don't like gay people either but I wouldn't go as far as saying that I hate them.
