Thought it was good to start draft talk now where do The Panthers look at with the first pick? I want Patrick Willis dudes a beast linebacker and would bring back that physical play we've seemed to lose as of late.
Check out some of the hits he's layed on people.

I want Lawrence Timmons LB from Florence, SC he has a lot of potential and only started for one year but the sky is the limit for this LB.

i think we need a safety with mike minter in decline someone like florida's reggie nelson or lsu's laron landry. however if keyshawn walks we will have to get WR hopefully dwayne jarrett. or if levi brown OT from penn state falls to us i would not pass him up.

What about Ted Ginn? He's a speed demon who wants to play DB.
Sounds an awful lot like Chris Gamble, and he turned out well.

I've heard Ginn might fall to the second round the same goes for Willis so maybe we could get a steal late.
Does anyone know any good mock draft sites?

Once everyone sees that 4.2 40 speed with dangerous return skills AND corner/WR talent, he'll never slip into the 2nd round. He'll go to Tennessee.

Landry ran a 4.35 and Patrick Willis ran a 4.49 damn one of these guys should be who we target with the 1st rounder.

Wow, 4.35 is hauling some serious ass.

I think the Falcons are aiming for Landry at #10. He's the best Defensive Back in the draft and Chris Crocker isn't a true Strong Safety like Landry. We have no depth in our secondary so I see us using 2-3 picks for the back end. With the rest going to a Big Brusing Running Back like Michael Bush and Linemen on both sides of the ball.

I thought I'd revive this thread since it's coming next Saturday!!!
SInce nearly everyone here that I know of is a Carolina Panthers fan, anybody else think that they will draft ILB Patrick Willis with their 1st rounder?

I expect him to be gone before 14 I'm going with Greg Olsen for the 14 pick he could be a huge pick up and would be another target for Jake.

... Or another target for David Carr if Jake starts throwing too many picks this season

I think they'll lean towards defense this year. There is so much talent in the 2nd round with recievers and tight ends that they can get a stud then.

Panthers came out huge in that trade with the Jets two second round picks, 5th all we did was lose a 6th round pick greatness.

Definitely a baller move. I hope they get a LB.
Oh wait. they just got Jon Beason.

Beason is a beast not the guy I wanted but hey I like what I hear about him said to be a heavy hitter and durable.
I love the second pick Jarrett working under Keyshawn is going to be great for him bye bye Colbert.
