BOBCATS UPDATE: Emeka Okafor (strained calf) did not participate in a brief practice Tuesday, after sitting out Monday's loss to the Clippers. Gerald Wallace (groin strain) also sat out, but he seems a better bet to play tonight.
Hopefully we can get back to winning after dropping two in a row I think the player of the game will be Adam Morrison.

Hopefully we play well tonight, we hung in there without Emeka last game, but how long can that happen? Crash needs to continue to be aggressive but needs to learn to share a little bit more.
I put Crash as the player of the game against his former team.

Crash matched up against crazy-ass Ron Artest should be a lot of fun. If hes healthy enough to play, he should be the player of the game.

I really hope we play well tonight without EO50 but hopefully g-force will play and we need to win this game so we can contiune the momentum. We were playing really well before these two went down. I think the player of the game will be Matt "M.C. Hammer" Carroll with 26 points in a loss.

If Adam continues to play like hes been playing since the all-star break then a 30 point not is definitely not out of the question.

I'm totally pumped. Anxious to get out of work, grab my seats at arco, and start putting down beer. I think our boys are gonna come out strong tonight. If they don't, they'll be eharing from me.

Man I hope EO50 plays tongiht. The Kings are a team that he could destroy.
Looking forward to watching Martin and his funky shot!! He's kinda fun to watch.

oo. i cant wait till the game starts for gerald wallace to meet his former team which has changed almost its entire lineup but one or two familiar faces (Bibby and Miller) will give him some kind of homecoming i guess.
Felts Vs Bibby - the only other PG in the league who might be able to challenge Felts for the worst shooting percentages!!
I'm thinking that Felts is about due to blow the doors off.

Crash is looking like the star he is! Could be our 1st triple double? As the SAC announcers said he should have 10 assists already if it weren't for the missed point blanks.
Imagine if Mek were playing...we'd be owning them.

Yeah that's definitely frustrating. Man, is crash making everything or what? Hopefully he can pull out that triple double, he's leading the team with 5 boards...FIVE BOARDS! I guess it's hard to pull down boards when teams are shooting so well.
All but 3 players on the cats has made a basket, and all but one on theirs has. Hopefully we can up the defensive intensity and make some stops, as we need them. I predict we make a 4th quarter comeback by shutting em down.
I hope AMMO has another 4th quarter outburst because we/he needs it. He's been relatively quiet tonight, the stasche can't be happy bout that.
We are letting them shoot 63% from the field for the game.
That's always going to make it hard to win.

They lit us up, big time. No perimeter D ... none. They shot 63% on us. we got scorched. i thought the bcats played D? damn. Anyone on this board has seen more bobcats ball than i, so i hate to sound like an expert (i've seen the last 2 months of franchise history, and that's pretty much it), but i could not figure out our coaching scheme tonight. thinking back to january-i thought the team played well with Jeff at point guard. For as bad as Morrison shot the ball, we needed him to shoot more. we need the guy to be a scorer, and in a shootout like tonight, he should have let him take about 18 shots. Crash was great, but was never on the floor when he should have been. Felton had his moments, but with brevin playing with him i understad why his game is inconsistant. Most importantly, We're shit without Mek. Total shit. We must resign Gerald. Matt is good, but seems frustrated right now. Keep Matt as a 7th man. Where the hell is Sean May? That's a guy we could have used overthe past 3 games. And once we have all of our guys together, I'm ready for a coach that decides to really DO something with our personel. Bernie just seems to be some sort of poor man's alchemist .. but his boys do play pretty hard, and i can't take that away from him. oh yeah, not Hermann's best night. ...sigh... i could throw out observations all night... i'll stop now.
i hate to say it - cause i've enjoyed watching them win - but it's draft pick time folks. here's to landing a top 3 pick and adding one real good free agent. we'll be $$ at that point. Get our good young talent healthy and add two good players (center and a 2 guard). BOOM - we're in the top four teams in the Eastern Conf. untill then, we're about average.
Anyways - fun to see 'em play tonight. I had seats right on the corner of the court. I gave the Kings fans shit about giving us Wallace. I told them "good luck in Las Vegas." and above all, i told 'em that they have a team on the way down, and we have a team on the way up. I also yelled at Brevin for missing that layup in the first half. that was ridic. also bitched when he finally got carrol back in the game in the 4th, but he took adam out

Raymond has got to step up man. I know he had 22 points tonight, but he's gotta be more assertive earlier on in the game. STOP turning the ball over all the time, and PLAY DEFENSE. He's got to play a hell of a lot smarter than he has the past 4 games. I know we miss Emeka and that hurt us badly tonight, but he's got to cut back on the TOs.

i can think of one play that pretty much sums up the whole game...kevin martin cutting to the basket, miller giving him the perfect bounce pass for an easy layup. cue the slo-mo replay, you can see felton a half second behind martin with the "oh-shit-that's-my-man" look in full effect. that's what we were tonight, a half step behind on D.
also, i understand calling bernie out on the crunch-time lineup, but i think this was his train of thought:
the other team is not missing, therefore we do not need to rebound. so he just threw out his best shooters and took the rebounders out of the game. kind of dumb, crazy, but in a beautiful way.

I thought stick man did well the last two mins with a block a dunk and altered 2 shots. Premo or Jake either one is a presence on the defencefive side of the ball. Stick did ok he should of had more of a chance.
We had NO player over 68 for a lot of that game.
We was screwed , they would hit in side so we dubble down then no bodys with in 5ft out side .
Had Okafor played we would have won by 25.

I was sitting next to stick's cousins last night they were very nice girls. I told 'em that their boy should get to play more - especially with Oak out. I'll be hapy to see Jake and Primo go in the offseason... those guys contribute nothing for their size. At least stick plays like a big man. ugh ... ugly loss... ugly hangover. we damn well better beat the blazers.

We actaully had it within 3 at one late stage (before Bibby morphed into Reggie freaking Miller) and they still had Miller on the court.
I would have thought putting in Hollins and Crash would have made sense - if for nothing else other than to execute an effective full court trap on the inbounds to put a bit of pressure on them bringing the ball up.
(although scONes makes a very good point of trying to "out shoot" them)
