These Bernie quotes from Rick Bonnell in the Charlotte Observer regarding Primoz Brezac:
"He keeps picking up two (fouls) early, which throws off all his rhythm," Bickerstaff said.
All his Rhythm!? Bernie! there ain't no rhythm, man!
"They're not allowing him any contact at all. And normally that's where they allow contact -- below the dotted line."
In the NBA clumsy contact = Lotsa fouls Bernie
"It's all been very unfortunate. He can't continue to go year-round..."Everything with Primoz is 100 mph."
So that's what Bernie sees as Primo runs the court eh? I suppose that explains why Primo is our starting center. Man, I didn't realize!

Any NBA center that loses a jump ball to a 6'1" guard, then follows it up with getting his shot blocked by that same 6'1" guard needs to be immediately released.
Primoz has been a wasted roster spot this season

i agree with ever thing you just said. Bernie knows hes a bum so he goes with his boy B. K. Why not give stick man a ligit chance . Does any one on this whole messege board think he could hurt the team with Okafor out.

From what I've seen from Hollins he'll attemp to block some shots or be active down low something that I haven't seen from Primoz.

Nope Zig. BK was a FA signing - not picked up from the X-Draft.
Crash and Primoz are the only two left.

thanks for adding, but i was reffering to the complete roster of that season (which is probably why ziggy added BK). which makes me wonder Big Slam, who all did you guys get in the expansion draft that year?

wallace was a literal steal btw. (understatement of the year)
Charlotte selected 10 players who were under contract: Primoz Brezec (Indiana), Predrag Drobnjak (L.A. Clippers), Brandon Hunter (Boston), Jason Kapono (Cleveland), Zaza Pachulia (Orlando), Aleksandar Pavlovic (Utah), Jamal Sampson (L.A. Lakers), Theron Smith (Memphis), Gerald Wallace (Sacramento) and Jahidi White (Phoenix).
The Bobcats also chose restricted free agents Lonny Baxter (Washington), J.R. Bremer (Golden State), Maurice Carter (New Orleans), Desmond Ferguson (Portland), Marcus Fizer (Chicago), Richie Frahm (Seattle), Tamar Slay (New Jersey), Jeff Trepagnier (Denver) and Loren Woods (Miami).
We acquired the second overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft for selecting forward Predrag Drobnjak from the Los Angeles Clippers - which we turned into EO50. The team also added a future first-round selection and an undisclosed amount of cash for selecting Jahidi White from Phoenix.

Yes, we let all restricted FA's go but Tamar Slay. We traded Pachulia, Brandon Hunter, Drobnjak and Sasha Pavlovic before the start of season, in return we got respectively a 2nd rounder from Milwaukee(which turned Bernard Robinson), Keith Bogans, a 2nd rounder from Atlanta(we gave it to Lakers and it unfortunately turned into Ronny Turiaf) and a 1st rounder from Toronto(that we'll use this year).
We signed Brevin as FA, gave two 2nd rounders to Clippers for Eddie House and Melvin Ely. And the best and most important trade of franchise history, as Big Slam said we acquired 2. pick for 4.(Shaun Livingston), 33.(Lionel Chalmers) and agreed to take Drobnjak in X Draft. No need to mention who got better pieces.

It's also of note after all was said and done Pavlovich was traded and ended up getting us a 1st rounder (May)

No, Bumpus. The pick that we selected May came from Cleveland via Phoenix. We had acquired it from Phoenix for agreeing to take Jahidi White in Expansion Draft.
The pick that we acquired via Pavlovic trade is still pending. We'll probably use it in this year's draft.

Didn't the Cavs take the protection off the pick thinking they would make the playoffs but they missed out?

Yep. That was also the year that they fired Paul Silas. After Silas left the Cavs stunk the rest of the season.

Cavaliers lifted all restrictions on the 2005 first round pick as part of a trade with the Celtics for Jiri Welsch on 2/24/05.
You're right, according to http://n-c-systems.com/hoops/DraftTrades/2005.html
