Hey, I'm new here. First and Formost I'm a die-hard Raptor fan, I live in Toronto.. And I've adopted the Bobcats as my #2 team. I'm a HUGE Falcons fan and I also cheer for the Louisville Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays. I can't stand the Knicks, there a joke, there head office is a joke and there fans are a joke :). I've been reading the rumors and even the thought of that cry-baby Vince Carter in a Bobcats jersey makes me cringe. It would be the worst move in this teams history. For the money that VC commands, you could get Rashard Lewis, who right now is the better player, and hey, Lewis isn't on the ground more then a soccer player. Anyways, I'll hope to see you guys around.

Welcome to BobcatsPlanet Knightz!
Glad to have you here. Your Raptors are looking real strong this season ( Thanks for the draft pick by the way  ) How deep of a run do you see them making in the Eastern conference in this year's playoffs?

I see them getting to the second round. Not because were not up to par with the other(I feel were the second best team in the east) But because of expierence. We have, If I'm correct 3 players who have played in the playoffs(Rasho, Ford and Peterson.)
But I can gaurentee we will have a Championship Banner in 3-5 years. Bosh is 22, Ford is 23 and Bargnani is 21. And there getting better and better FAST.
I hope the Bobcats can do the same as what the Raptors are doing, they've been unfortunate in the Draft. Sean May I thought was over-rated coming out. Emeka was great, Felton was great and the jury is out on Morrison. He can't play a lick of defense as of yet and I would have hoped he'd be putting up better numbers offensivly.
If the Bobcats can get Lewis in the off-season and add some TRUE skilled veterans(Sorry, but McGinnis and Williams don't cut it) This team would be in for some filled stands and playoff basketball in a weak, weak, Eastern Conference.

I envy you Knightz, because your Raptors have my -really really really- favourite player in the basketball world.
I'm a huuuuuge Jorge Garbajosa fan since he was a star in Europe, while playing for Benetton and Unicaja. I'm so upset that Bobcats couldn't land him, I wish we had had Maurizio Gherardini.
By the way, welcome to the board. It's nice to see guys supporting other teams.

Without Bryan Colangelo, Gherardini wouldn't be here. And Garbajosa wouldn't be here, and Parker wouldn't be here.
Bryan Colangelo is the exective of the year, Bargnani is the rookie of the year and Sam Mitchell is a contendor for Coach of The Year all thanks to Big Bryan.

I can agree about Colangelo (super genius) and Mitchell for coach of the year, but Bargnani will get a 2nd place finish if Roy stays healthy. He's their go to man, Bargnani isn't there yet. Roy carries his team, Bargnani does not.
Bargnani will be the better pro, but a few years down the road. Roy for ROY.

Roy will only have played around 70% of his games at the end of the season. Playing basically a little more then half the season doesn't get you an award in my book.

So you must agree that Vince Carter, paying all of 50 games in 98-99 should not have been considered the ROY with Toronto?

Nope, just because I never liked Vince Carter and never will. You don't quit on your NBA team, you don't cry and complain because your mother doesn't have a reserved valet parking spot right infront of the building. You don't roll around on the floor like a soccer played 3 times a game.
And I love it, because the Nets are down in the dumps and the Raptors are rising, and the scary thing is, there getting BETTER and BETTER.
