now that bernie is out, i saw on ESPN's PTI that tony kornheiser said that Larry Brown would be the next coach of the 'cats. obviously it is speculation, but what do you think of larry brown leading the cats to the promised land?

Maybe. LB has lots of experience, both with winning and losing teams. He might be the safest choice for a new bobcats coach

i would love him to be our coach, he didn't do so hot in new york but i wouldn't mind giving him a second chance

The train wreck that Larry had with the New York Knicks last season makes me real nervous about adding him. I'd prefer someone younger and a little bit more sane.

While he has previous college aged kid tutelage (Kansas) he is too anal retentive.
I like some of his track record, hate others.

I'm with Mustachio. I don't think bringing in Brown would help us long term and would in fact hiinder someone like Crash

Larry Brown is known for decreasing the self confidences of young players. He never trusts them, only goes for veterans. Remember Mehmet Okur, Darko Milicic. Larry Brown rarely gave them chances in playoffs, when they get rid of LB, they began shining. And we're a team that contains full of youngsters.
I never want to see Larry Brown as the head coach and see him trade Ray+Adam to Clips for Sam Cassell+Cuttino Mobley.

It sounds like LB is maneuvering for the job:
Stephen A. Smith (http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/sports/16899161.htm)
"As far as Charlotte goes, everyone knows I have a very special relationship with Michael. I've known him for years. We're family, and I love him. So saying 'no' to him would be almost impossible for me, just because it would be hard for me to say 'No' to him about anything. But I haven't heard anything from him and I have no idea what my future holds."
Give it time, L.B. Give it time.
It won't be long before Brown gets a phone call from Jordan. The public will be told there's a short list of candidates. But there's only one on that list. Because of Dean Smith, Roy Williams and the rest of that contingent from Brown's alma mater - the University of North Carolina - the job will belong to Brown, if he wants it.

If we spend $3-$5 million a year to get Larry Brown but we won't spend $10 mil to re-sign Gerald Wallace or $14-15 mil to get Vince Carter I am going to be PISSED
Maybe pissed enough to find a new team.
Fuck a coach, any old ast coach around the league will do. We need PLAYERS
look how well random guys like D'Antoni and Avery Johnson are doing.
