Hope you don't mind Zig, I just thought this was a really good subject that for some reason got wildly off topic!!

I am in full agreement with rallydurham. I think that extending EO50 and signing Crash long term is much, much more important than selling the farm on either Carter or Lewis.

I still believe that Crash or EO50 can become "the man" and with a whole lot of luck (lotto balls = Durant) could seriously round out our roster for the next 10 years.

Then, all we really need is a 2 guard who plays both ends and can help with ball movement. Wouldn't have to be a star, just a solid role player who comes with a cheap price tag.

End of the day, so long as we lock up EO50 and Crash and draft well, I wont be bothered if we dont bring in Carter or Lewis.

Slam you right and im sorry that i helped mess it up. Slam i agree with your assesment about signing CRASH and OKAFOR . just a couuple questions for ya
1 . You good at this in your opinion what is it going to take to lock up Crash and Okafor.
2. all so if we get like a 4th pick do you think we should try to move up at any cost to get Derant.
BUT i agree with you about Lewis and V/C

Yes, Okafor and Crash need to get signed.

Both Morrison and Felton need to improve shot selection, but at least Felton actually has some good games, I can't remember the last time Adam had a decent-good game.

May can be considered mostly a bust, but when he plays he's good.

Carroll must be re-signed.

Durant or Oden if at all possible. We NEED that kinda player.

I would like Deshawn Stevenson to be signed. defensive player, can shoot decent, and would come MLE probably.

I also am on the bandwagon to get Anderson Varajao. He would compliment the team well, I think. He would also be a fan favorite, and would help Walter on his feet (both southern american players, correct?)

I would consider Charlie Bell as well. and has anyone seen Kelenna Azubuike play? I liked him when he was in the NBDL, and I would consider him too.

Some solid players, hopefully they could help us.

yeah i hope the management doesnt think that the fans MUST have a FA signing. I for one like the way they are going... a couple signings to shore things up are fine.. but i dont really see any sense in spending 10 mil unless thats the last peice of your puzzle....

i know the bobcats are using the carter link to sell tickets already.... a friend of mine was asking about season tickets and some of the staff were saying that there was a rumour that VC might be signing here... so you better buy your tickets now.

slam your dead on about keeping Crash and Oak, and then draft well. thats all you can really ask, and i hope they dont think we want VC and then think they can sell tickets.

Slam, no problem at all.

I agree with you guys that signing Okafor and Crash is a must and that may lead to us not getting Lewis or Carter over the summer. How do you guys feel about Antowain Jamison? Would he be a fit here, could we afford him and is he more of a 3 or a 4?

I think we will be trying to get rid of May and if that happens that makes AMMO perfect trade bait. If Jamsison wants to play for us as bad as i have heard . He will be a BOBCAT NEXT YEAR at a good price. If he can play the three and the 4 he could be great coming off the beanch. Or even starting at 4 if we dont find a big.

Jamison starts @ PF because Caron Butler is the SF. I'm sure he can be used for both. He would eliminate Othella, May, and Primoz's job.

Okafor could be use as the starting Center, while Jamison starts @ PF/backs it up. A lot just does depend on the draft.

It would also be helpful to have him with his ability to hit 3's. 38% this year.
