All doughnuts a side for now . Foward Shan May told the Charlotte news paper that he would not be playing the rest of the season because of knee soreness . He thinks and says if he can lose 15 pounds he will be fine next season he weighs 268 now and wants to get down to 255.
Haveing had seven knee seregys im saying his knee will never be a 100percent again . And loseing 13 pounds is not going to fix his problem. It may help a little buts thats it. Its starting to look more and more like we geting to the end of Shan May . Can he be traded , cut, or will he have to stay on the roster til his contract is up. Can he be waived and if he is does that come off our cap limit.
Thoughts on what to do with this talented player whos never healthy.

He'll be back next year - no worries.

we should keep him until his his option years from his rookie contract are done, then a fair assessment can be made. if healthy, he is one of the best bench players in the nba. if he can't stay healthy, we should cut ties

haha. Waad.

Shan is Sean's sister. Looks the same, but plays with Charlotte while Sean is pimping the ladies at bars on game nights.

In 2 years hes played about 55-60 games total, he has bad knees, he has a history of weight problems. Its time to write off Sean May as a bust.

Wow poor Sean....

I like his game to much to write him off so fast. I really like his game. So I totally agree with Fromage, give him the summer and see what's up.

Heck, if I was gonna write off anybody it'd be AMMO; but that's another thread :g:

You can like his game all you want there keetch... hes a bust. bad knees this early... its over. they have already stated as fact that he may never be able to play two games back to back ever again. a wasted first round pick... luckily it came in a line of great picks.

Emeka, Raymond, Adam. so far so good.

ammo is a bust. whatever. steve nash was garbage for his first 4 years in the NBA. now hes on the brink of his 3rd MVP. adam is the second leading scorer among rookies right now, averaging 5 less minutes than the guy ahead ofhim... who also happens to be getting more consistent playing time and more of a direct responsibility in the game.

adam on the other hand is getting sporadic minutes behind matt carroll and then left in with the second team during garbage time, and never really put into a postion to take over. (with the exception of the minnesota game, which he was given the opp. and took advantage of it).

Look this is the last time i argue it, and i dont even wanna sound like im just an adam morrison fan (even though my screen name and avatar and sig all disagree, my favorite player is Emeka.) I just feel like i gotta be the guy to champion morrison because everyone is doggin him. He has stayed healthy, hasnt been hampered by the diabetes and puttin up decent numbers for a rookie. and his passing has been exceptional, one thing about his game that is overlooked. HE HAS A LOT OF ROOM TO GROW to be a superstar and needs work and coaching, but the intangible i think are there. He will be a very solid player for us, if the fans can not jump the gun and give him a chance.

I agree with Mustachio on this one. Its way too early to label Adam a bust, I for one am looking forward to seeing what he can do next season under some quality NBA coaching.

As much as i like May and the TAR HEELS i have to agree with Mustachio and ZIGGY. Hes about done four.
I all so read in the same artical that Jordon is still looking for some one that MORRISON could guard . I think Morrison gets another year but hes got to start to put things toghter. It looks like Jordon is going to call his players out on thair week points . sorry if my spelling or gramer is bad ill stop posting if you guys want just tell me.
