Yes, ziggy, you could have done better. Just look at Maria Sharapova's joke, which convinced me for that stupid lie for a few minutes. She's much more creative than you are :D

Why would that be such a bad idea? Because he's never done it? I know he's stated publicly that he doesn't want to, but does anybody here think that he would be as bad a coach as Bernie? He'd do as good of a job as Larry Bird did don't you think?
I mean he's going down as we type as "The Greatest basketball player of all time" Played under Dean smith and Roy williams in college and Phil Jackson in the pros. I wouldn't be pissed if he became the coach but i'd be shocked because I don't think an owner can be a coach too. I may be wrong on that fact though, I know I've never known it to happen. Certainly there are more qualified canadits out there but.........still why would every body be so pissed or dissapointed?

I mean if you look at it like this MJ doesnt sound that bad.
he could show up for 68% of the games and be a better coach than Bernie has been. So if Bernie can get 30 + wins out of the Cats, Jordan should then be able to get 40-50+ ... RIGHT?
we are looking for an Avery Johnson type coach, someone reasonably young, fresh and new to give a different perspective. Micheal Jordan was 5 times the player Avery was. so if he is .5 times better than Avery as a coach he would be a success. Like J-mart said... he was coached by 3 first ballot all time greatest coaches ever, so he could at the very least borrow from all their styles and make up his own game plan. and become succesful (at least on paper it makes sense, ya know)
i think the biggest draw back for everyone concerning MJ being the coach is a two part thing. Media would destroy every bad decision he appeared to make, and he would personally hold himself and the team to such a high target that it may very well self destruct the team from pressure and irritation.
I mean im not starting the band wagon for Jordan as coach... im just saying i wouldnt cry too much if he did appoint himself.

But I think no way he would appoint himself as coach. Jordan has always wanted to do front office jobs rather than coaching since his retirement. We all know that he wanted actually to purchase a team with 100% control. I don't see Jordan's coaching even as a possibility.

I don't see it as a possability either. But quite frankly we'd probably be better off with him as a coach than an owner. I mean he really hasn't shown much promise in that area and couldn't do worse as a coach. he could only get better.
