after watching the bobcats dismantle the wizards and the wizards quick shooting and fast breaking style, i was wondering if you guys thought it would be good for the bobcats to play more uptempo and impose their will on the opposition. obviously they played well tonght, but i 'm just throwing it out there.
they seem to have personnel to do it
ray felton would be drastically improved in a fast tempo style

In some games they should but it shouldn't be the main thing they rely onl

Absolutely. Here's proof:
Raymond - 54% shooting, 14 assists, only 3 TO
Brevin - Sucky shooting but 12 assists
Crash - 34 points and 14 boards on 67% shooting
Emeka - 17 pts. 13 boards
Jake: JAKE! JAKE shoots 6-6 and has a productive night.
Walter- 8-11 shooting
The team: 57.3 % shooting and we scored 122 points
The proof is there.

...but would it work against all teams?

If we compare it to the Suns, or even Golden State, and with how we played, I'd say yes.
We would have shootouts, but yes.

Its a good idea . Most of our starters are taylor made for that style. Felton , Okafor , Wallace with Carrol and Walter good for the three on the kick out,
But if we are going to play that style we have to draft speed. Two players that can run the court. WHO. thoughts

Uptempo would suit the majority of our lineup perfectly. There are a few who would probably have problems with the adjustment, Like May and possibly Adam.

They would become even more useless!

Marcus Williams is a gunner...
And so is Spencer Hawes.....a big guy with a scoring mind yet still can grab boards...

I'm not so sure about this, Gerald would really have to improve on his shot to consistently work in this offense, if he could become a Shawn Marion type guy then yes. I dont see Emeka as being a guy who can create though so that makes him a liability in this style. Tell me, what is the difference in Phoenix's and Golden State's style from what the Denver Nuggets did in the 80's under Doug Moe? Allan Bristow brought that to the Hornets in the glory days, and while it was fun as heck to watch, it never got us past the 2nd round.

Hell yea we should play that run and gun suns style. Now some body just give me two draft picks and a free agent to take us to the play offs next year.
Oh yea we need the suns ass . Coach next year two.
