I've only been into the Bobcats for the past 2 months or so. Meaning I've missed out on most of what the Bobcats have done. Still, even though I've only recently gotten into them, I used to go to the games once every few months or so.

Just a few minutes ago, I was thinking about the players that used to be on the Bobcats that I remembered. I don't remember well but I remember us have having:

Kareem Rush
Some guy with the nickname "trailer"
Steve Smith
Kevin Burleson
Jason Hart
Some guy with the last name Bogans.

Can someone tell me some stuff about them and other former Bobcats? (I'm bored and curious) I remember Kareem Rush and that "Trailer' guy being pretty good. Of course that just means they looked good on the few days I saw them play. I also remember Steve Smith being old but thats all I remember about any of the old Bobcats.

Tell me what you remember about them... >_>

2004 Players:

Kareem Rush: An all star on the Lithuanian team.

Trailer/Jahidi White: Cut by the Cavs before this season started.

Steve Smith: retired after winning a championship with the Heat.

Kevin Burleson: A backup in the NBDL :D

Jason Hart: Starting for the Clippers with Shaun Livingston injured.

Keith Bogans: Playing very little in Orlando.

Eddie House: plays on the Nets, averaged about 8.5 pts and is injured currently.

Jason Kapono: On the heat, injured, and is a stud with 3's. 52%!!

Melvin Ely: rotting away on the Spurs bench.

Malik Allen: 10 minutes a game for the Bulls this year.

Tamar Slay: 11 PPG in the NBDL.

Jamal Sampson: ANother Ryan Hollins, and is getting nearly 5 minutes in Denver.

Theron Smith: somewhere?

Cory Alexander: NBDL

B-Rob: the blockbuster b-rob/Jeff Mcinnis trade and gets 4 minutes a game! woo!!

2005 Season:

Jumaine Jones: I liked this guy. He's rotting on the suns only playing 18 games this year.

Lonny Baxter: Prison?

I really wish we still had Jumaine Jones, Eddie House, and Jason Kapono (but not so much now since Herrmann can do more)

haha your the only one Kareem Rush is to the Bobcats what Bucky Dent is to the Red sox. ok maybe thats exaggerating a lot... but i think ziggy would agree with that.

I just dont understand the Jumaine Jones love .... when he was a bobcat all my friends and i called him Jumaine Green Light Jones, because the guy shot the ball about 55 times a game and averaged like 6 points a game. i hated him, terrible stroke and not even on Walter Hermanns level right now.

I'd like Jones but if we keep the current roster we have no room for Jones.

House is too much of a shooter, and not enough PG.

Kapono is worthy, but we have too much depth of what he does.

i'll say this : there is a reason why we don't have any of those players any more. except for kapono and eddie house, they are all scrubs

True. Of course, at least we got Crash outta the "scrubs" in the expansion draft!!

A few correction and addition

Kareem Rush: playing for Lithuanian team BC Lietuvos Rytas, he led his team to ULEB CUP(second biggest club competition in Europe) final. Look at his ULEB CUP stats: http://www.euroleague.net/ulebcup/home/on-court/players/showplayer?clubcode=lie&pcode=LTU

Kevin Burleson: Please bump, don't underestimate him, he is starting for Forth Worth Flyers(44 out of 47). His D-League stats: http://www.nba.com/dleague/playerfile/kevin_burleson/index.html?nav=page

Lonny Baxter: He's not in the jail anymore, after completing his 2 moths punishment, he moved to Europe and playing for Montepaschi Siena of Italy, his ULEB CUP stats: http://www.euroleague.net/ulebcup/home/on-court/players/showplayer?clubcode=sie&pcode=KIN

Theron Smith: Last played for Florida Flames in D-League, but I couldn't find further info.

Cory Alexander: No further info after Bobcats.

Also former Summer league players: Curtis Withers in Turkey(playing for Alpella), Brett Blizzard in Italy(playing for Virtus Bologna). I had the opportunity to watch them both. They were decent.

I can only think of Robert "tractor" traylor, who was with the previous Charotte team.

Post of month nominee. Plain a simple, yet highly effective.
