Fabio or Matt?

The Adam -vs- Gerald argument has been going on for a while, but who is the real keeper if the Bobcats decide to spend money on either Walter or Matt. Of these 2, which player would you keep and why?

For me, its Fabio... I respect Matt's game, but its much easier to find someone else that can do what he does.

I love Matt on the team, but Fabio can do so much more.

He can rebound, defend, has better size, athleticism, post moves, and more of a mid range game.

Matt is more expendable for those reasons, even though his 3 pt range and FT's are just phenomenal. Fabio > Matt, but Matt is still that important bench need.

Get rid of Brevin Knight and Matt Carroll.

If you get the top draft pick, then draft Greg Oden and get JR Smith in Free Agency from Denver.

Wallace won't come back to Charlotte, and even if he wanted to, there wouldn't be any room for him in a line up of:

Felton
JR Smith
Herman
Okafor
Oden

You cannot keep both Morrison and Wallace for next season. When you factor Hermann into the equation, it's even harder to decide because he and Morrison are similar players, but Hermann is 3 times better, so you could get rid of both Morrison and Wallace since both would be making too much money to come off of the bench on next season. Besides, if you got rid of Morrison, then "White Charlotte" would lose its mind, and the Bobcats would lose tickets, so what do you do?

You let Wallace walk, and get rid of Carroll and Knight.

I say we keep Matt and Fabio and forget about J.R Smith . Matt plays a two and three most of the time. Fabio plays a 4 most of the time.Matts going to sign cheap and i dont think Fabio will break the bank . And i think both could both be long term starters. If not that great off the beanch.

Why is it either or between these two? They don't even play the same position. If anything I'd say Fabio puts pressure on Ammo and to some extent on May.

Other than DA Hammer is the best SG we have.

Wallace is not going any where. Nither is Okafor. Matt is going to sign with us because we give him the chance to get where he is now . Jordon loves Matts hustle so Matts staying . Fabio is staying to . He want be resigned this year but probely will next year.
I agree May better have a good solid year or thats the end of him , Fabio will see to that , nice to have players to push each other.
At 4 mil B.K will be gone next year with his age the price tag is to steap. Look to see a combo guard in the draft to push Felton . Rumor has it Felton is not the next coming . Jeff will all so be gone next year. Premoz i hope we can get rid of all so . I hope we dont offer of try to extend any thing to him. We will be stuck with only one player the way i see it. Harrington mabe the worst move we made in the history of the organization so he stays one more year. Morrison has one more year to try to find his spot whitch he can do . I hope we get a chance to keep A Anderson and Hollins next year for the money one of those two may be keepers. D Anderson is good for the team we may see him as a ass. coach-player next year.
Its no need to make a bunch of changes between the draft and who we have we only getting better. With health and new coaching we win 50 games in the east next year. Lets not screw up a good thing . So if you ask me whos gone i say nither one..............

This a just a "What If" scenario... What if the Bobcats decided that they were only going to pay to keep one of these guys?

In reality, I fully expect both to be on the roster next season.

Ahhh thanks Zig. I've seen this either/or before...and it never made sense!

If the choice was between just the 2 Fabio would probably get the nod...if for nothing else he'll be cheaper (I'm expecting NYK to offer him more than we're willing to match).
