Heres a link to more Adam Morrison bashing that I found today while surfing
click (http://www.aolsportsblog.com/2007/04/15/how-much-more-irrelevent-can-adam-morrison-get/)
I know that he shot poorly and had defensive issues (to put it mildly), but I can't remember the last rookie that caught as much heat as Ammo.

Kwame Brown?
Well, he has become irrelevant. Both Gerald Wallace and Walter Hermann add 50 times more to the team than he does. It's amazing how much more athletic Walter is than Morrison is. If Morrison's shot isn't falling, there is nothing else that he can do for the team, whereas Wallace or Hermann can rebound, play defense, and hustle.
Morrison has been irrelevent for the last 1 1/2 months...at least.
If we needed to win a game at the buzzer I'd put the ball in his hands every time! What is it with him and his buzzer shots?!

Maybe he knows his role? Dirk Diggler knows when to bust out the man juice, as should AMMO.

He gets so much bashing because expectations for Ammo in the NBA were so high probaly more than any rookie other than Andrea Bargnani. We saw how Adam shot the ball in college but he's been very inconsistent shooting the ball this year which goes back to the expectations people had with him in the NBA that's why he gets heat. Even with all of that I haven't given up on Adam I still feel like he can have a great second year in the league and silence his critics.

Adam had higher expectations than Bargnani because Barg's was compared to Dirk, who was very raw and they understand that he would take a few years to get "it".

i read that post a few days ago, also with the comments, and what caught my attention was the girl who last commented(as of that time) on the article. she said that people who watch adam sure knows he can play, since they've seen him on college b-ball, but most importantly, she states that if we're really a fan, we shouldn't jump off the bandwagon when it's heading donwhill. i won't. ::)

adam morrison just needs time. wasnt hermann playing already in nba level during those qualifying rounds in the summer. at least ammo wasnt as bad as jj redick this season
Picking on Ammo at the moment is like shooting fish in a barell.
It's easy to take cheap shots at him now. Having the foresight to call him out before we drafted him is a different story. It's the "in thing" to bash him now.
But sure, maybe JJ Redick didn't get as much playing time as Ammo this year...............of course JJ wasn't a top 3 pick either.
