He is having another wonderful month, averaging 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds while shooting 59% from field, 51% behind the arc and 86% from charity stripe. These averages are just mind-blowing. He's been scoring in double figures for 12 consecutive games(entire April) and 16 of last 17. He broke Bobcats franchise record for most 3pt made by a rookie against Bucks(6 treys good).

I wonder very much how Walter will react when he'll face better defenses and precautions against him. If he passes that exam, he'll prove that he'll be a real solid player at NBA level.

His play has been great and he should be rookie of the month for April two. He got it toghter a little late in the year to get rookie of the year . But he could turn out to being the best player in last years draft.
Hes is playing better ball now than any rookie has this year. Roy , Gay, Morrison, just name them ill take Walter over any of them now......
Fabio is the man this year.........

Assuming we have both Herrmann and Wallace here next year, our offense will be one of the best in the league.

Some motherfucking idiots gave the award to Shelden Williams.
I'm giving their month April stats.
Shelden Williams: 11.6 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 1.1 apg, 1.8 spg, 59% fg, 0% 3pt, 65% ft
Walter Herrmann: 19.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 0.9 apg, 1.1 spg, 57% fg, 52% 3pt, 86% ft

No need to say more. Numbers tell everything.

Shouldn't importance to the team mean anything? I don't think the the Hawks got any better when Williams played better.

Shelden Williams wins rookie of the month. Hawks record: 3-6 He averaged 30 minutes
Herrmann does not: Bobcats 5-4 while averaging 37 minutes

Whatever fuckers. Gotta give it to a local boy.
