hypothetically, lets say the bobcats don't win the lottery and get the 8th pick where they are currently slotted. what do you think it would take to get the #2 pick?

I would give up the #8 pick (obviously), toronto's pick and throw in sean may.

do you think that is too much, too little?

I don't think that we would have a chance of moving from #8 to #2 unless you put Emeka in the deal... and even then its doubtful.

What do you guys think?

Not Emeka, but more like Raymond or Adam. Regardless, I don't think that trading up will help the team unless we can guarantee Oden. Is 1 piece forward that hasn't played in the NBA worth losing 3 piece to the puzzle?

I know if I was holding the 2nd pick in the draft I would have to get an all-star, at least, to give up the pick. I think so many teams have convinced themselves that Oden and Durant are the next great players that they won't part with them easily.

Welcome to BobcatsPlanet Driver11

I think you're right on target when it comes to trading up. I know that if I were the GM of the Bobcats got a top 2 pick, it would take an unbelievable package to pry that pick out of my grasp. It would take a minimum of an All-Star player in his prime along with multiple draft picks.

I dont think we dont get that second pick unless we get very lucky .We could take both picks and mabe trade them to get Hilbert . But myself i think its to much talent out thair to try and trade down for Hilbert.
We might even be able to trade those two for a Hartford or a Wright.
But never a Olden or Derant
I would kinda like to buy that suns pick .
and hope we get lucky.
