who?
We don't know what spot we'll be drafting with our first pick yet, but the 22nd pick is locked in.
Of the players that are likely to be available in that spot, who would you like?
Currently Draftexpress has us taking Rodney Stuckey and nbadraft.net has us picking Tiago Splitter.

Tiago Splitter wouldn't be chosen by Michael Jordan, who always states that we need an immediate go to guy, not a potential waiting to be fulfilled who has buyout problems(he will be a free agent in 2008).
Those so called scoring machines like Nick Young, Marcus Williams, Rodney Stuckey or Morris Almond make much more sense to me.

JAVARIS CRITTENDON!!!! could take over for felton if he continues to struggle and if not can slide to SG and be a scoring guard. the kid is 6'5'' and very versatile

Marcus Williams would feel a hole at SG I'm tired of the one+two being Felton and BK.

We have a lottery pick and the 22nd pick from the Raptors.

Who would yall rather pick up in the the second pick? right now I have Marcus Williams at 1, Acie Law at 2 and what I've been reading on different prospect sites they seem to be high on Italy player Marco Belinelli so I'd probably put him at 3.
By the way is Nick Young declared yet or is he staying another year? if so I would put him in the number 2 spot.

I think nick drclared with out a agent whitch means he can still change his mind. I got nick first Williams 2nd a little futher down i have Betinelli Only because i ve never saw him play . I have read good things about him and they say he has great size and can shoot lights out. Any one know any thing about him..........
Depends on what we do with the lotto pick. If we go big with it then we need to go with a wing at #22.
But if we turn our lotto pick into, say, JRich, then we will need to go big at #22

How would you guys feel about Marc Gasol (Pao's brother) at #22 if hes available. Hes a 7 footer with skills from what I've read. I've never seen him play however. Tamburello may have more details on him.

If he's half as good as Pau, why not?

I think he makes a good pro player and is under rated.

He wasn't as bright prospect until this year as his elder brother Pau. When Marc was playing for Barcelona, he was a strict bench player. So I didn't think he'd be even a mediocre player but he'd be thought just as brother of Pau, not Marc.
I haven't seen him playing but I know that he showed a great improvement this year with his team Akasvayu Girona. He helped his team win the Eurocup(3rd most important cup for European competition). His Eurocup stats: http://www.fibaeurope.com/cid_f43ulKJBGLcVnbH-aqLVu2.playerID_38163.compID_BYg5Rb55Jw-G5I3MZ6JB01.season_2007.roundID_5093.teamID_5305.h tml
For sure you know that Spanish League(ACB) is the best domestic league in the Europe, and Marc is 8th on the MVP list(according to stats). He is averaging 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds in 23 mpg. He is shooting 62.7% from 2pt field. Although trying very few, he looks like an efficient 3 pt shooter as well. His ACB stats(in Spanish): http://www.acb.com/jugador.php?id=B4W
All in all, he may be a valuable contributor to any team in the NBA in the future, but assuming that we'll select center with 8th(?) pick, he would be expandable. As of now, he won't make much difference than Primoz in my opinion.

After looking at a lot of Mock Drafts most of them say were gonna take Rodney Stuckey. I actually like that pick. I would want him or Nick Young. Whichever one is availible when it's our pick.

Nick Young if possible, BUT if we could trade down...maybe buy one of the suns picks and get both :g:
What about Arron Afflao?

marc may not be a bad option with our 22nd pick. however, i've seen he's not very athletic from what i've read and that definitely doesn't seem to translate well to the NBA (adam morrison)

He's another scorer type two guard but I hear his turnovers can be an issue as well as his ball handling.
