Charlotte had two players get votes for thair defensive play . WOW, Wallace had 27 votes
Okafor got 10 votes
Camby won defensive player of the year by edgeing out Okafor and Wallace with 431 votes.
We get no damn respect.THOUGHTS

if Okafor played the whole year, he deserved more votes than 10. At least as many as Crash.

Okafor especially deserved more attention. At times this season he was the sole reason that we were able to stop people on the defensive end.

I know the result was shitty, but look at it this way - In years past they wouldn't have even got a single vote. We are starting to get noticed, slowly, but it's happening.

Hopefully next year when we explode people will have no choice but to take notice.

Damn SLAM good to see your post, good post.Who do you guys think is the top five defensive players in the league are. Im bias i think Okafor and Wallace are both top five.

Excellent point. Respect is earned by chalking up wins in the win column. We'll get our respect next season.
